The elixir worked immediately, healing every wound he had in record timing.
Tess yelped as she was thrown against a wall. Zeus stalked towards her, his club-like tail swinging back and forth as he approached.

Tess yelped as she was thrown against a wall. Zeus stalked towards her, his club-like tail swinging back and forth as he approached.
He cracked his knuckles, standing up and sighing in relief.
Tess saw Runner getting up and called a time out. Zeus stopped without protest, reverting back to his human form. Tess did the same and jogged up to Runner, grabbing him and spinning him around to inspect him. "You're looking good," she said.
"Yeah, feel a lot better, too." He looked down at his bloodied clothes. "Damn. I liked this shirt."
She chuckled. "I'm sure Zeus will lend you one. We can go shopping tomorrow. I need some new clothes anyway. My current ones are going out of style."
"What, you're gonna pick out clothes for me?" He smiled slightly
"If you have a horrible sense of fashion, then yes," she teased, poking his nose.
"Well, you've seen the way I dress."
"It's alright, I suppose." She winked.
Zeus coughed.
He smiled, glancing up at Zeus. "You got someone waiting on you."
Tessa rolled her eyes. "Insufferable, I tell you." She moved to Runner's side. "Zeus, this is Runner." Zeus rose his brows but said nothing. She swept a hand towards Zeus. "Runner, this is Zeus, my annoying older HALF brother."
Zeus smirked and sketched a bow. "A pleasure to meet Tessie's friend."
He looked down at her. "Only a friend?"
She gritted her teeth as she glared at her brother. "Zeus doesn't need to stick his nose into other people's business. So as far as he's concerned, yes," she said to Runner.
"Ah, yes, our little moment on the beach was just a gesture of friendship," he said with a grin.
She scowled at him. "You two will get along quite well."
"I'm only kidding," he said, planting a kiss on the top of her head. "I'll leave you two to your fun. Try not to break him."
Zeus cracked his knuckles. "I think I'll be the one breaking her," he said with a toothy grin.
Tessa snarled at Zeus. "Oh, it's on."
The two siblings went at it again, this time with fists instead of claws.
He snorted, walking into a bathroom and shutting the door, beginning to unwrap the bandages.
Fifteen minutes later, a slightly banged up Tess was sprawled across the fuzzy rug in the living room, eyes closed.
Runner walked into the living room, his bloodied shirt handing from his left hand. His torso was now covered with scars that looked like they had been there for years despite only healing an hour ago. "Hey, we're matching."
She cracked open an eye. "In order to match, you'll need a giant scar running down the middle of your torso from just below the collarbones to right above you-know-where that has been opened, closed, and reopened again multiple times." She closed her eye again.
"Close enough." He laid down next to her. "Did he already make his leave?"
"Nah. Zeus is staying here until War Games are over. He was going to come anyway, but not this early."
"Are you really that embarrassed of me that you don't want to tell your brother we're dating?"
She blindly reached for his hand. "No, never, but Zeus likes picking on me. Enjoys it immensely. He'd never leave me alone about being in a serious relationship. He already knows, just wants me to admit it."
