Tessa snorted. "Cin is short for Cinthia, Princess of the Oraqa Gods. Nineteen years old, just a few months younger than ya gurl." She pointed to herself, eyes glittering with humor.

(I'm just going to jump in before it's too late, feel free to either kill my character or kick me out)
Adriana dropped down from the rafters, searching the eyes of the people around her. She'd gotten a call here, but hadn't realized how many others had also been called. Whoever had called her was desperate…
Tess glanced at the newest arrival. "Hello there," she purred.
Adriana cocked her head, still not speaking. She straightened, nodding to the others and glancing around. Busy night. "Hi." It was short, simple, and gave no illusion of an actual interest.
Boring. Tess turned her attention elsewhere.
Adriana smiled inside. She needed to know why she was here, and what she was hunting. Not who she was hunting with.
“I just don’t get it.” Porta sighed. “How can we hunt the monster when we don’t know what we’re hunting? I’ve got maps of all the attacks, but-“ she slouched against the wall dejectedly.
"Are we, indeed, hunting?" Adriana questioned. She was prepared, of course, but wanted to gauge how much the others knew. Best to play her cards with caution.
Tess tilted her head. "Where have all the attacks been centered around? And how did it attack?"
Porta pulled out a map from under her coat and unfolded it, showing a path of red X's marking attacks. "The monster's attacks show that it's working it's way north up the Eastern Seaboard, and I estimate the starting point to be somewhere in the Caribbean. It turns its victims to stone, and so far, no one can tell if we can transform the statues back. Every victim has been frozen with a look of terror on their face, but other than that, we have no clues as to its physical apperance."
"So we're dealing with Medusa. Fun. At least I know I can fight with my eyes closed."
Porta smiled softly. "It could be a Medusa-like creature, and that's what I like to believe. I wouldn't be able to handle it if it was some kind of alien. I literally found out about demons last week, so…"
"I got a bunch of mythical creatures under my belt. I'm not too worried."
Taran looked up at Tessa. "Really? Then show them to us!"
Tess rolled her eyes. "Figuratively. What I mean is I've dealt with a bunch of shit before so I'm pretty confident this'll be a cakewalk."
Adriana nodded. "It can't be too hard." She stretched her head for a better view of the map, scheming inside her head.
"Hm, Paralysis with body changing into materials. This will be fun, when do we leave?" Miles asked, muttering an incantation to hide his bag from view and to make sure it stayed locked.
"Indeed," Tess muttered.
Levira shrugged. "Well, when are we going to be leaving? The first place I want to go is to a food place. I'm starving!"
"We can get food on the way." Miles muttered, his wings were growing more and more agitated and he just wanted to go so he could fly.
"I'm down for food!" Tess stood, stretching her muscles.
Levira's stomach grumbled and she blushed, glad that no one could see her face.
"I can't deny that I'm getting a little hungry. Where do you guys usually go to eat? I'm not really from around here." Porta tucked the map back into her coat. "We can talk more tactics when we aren't starving."
Adriana straightened and started moving towards the door. "I don't know the area, but there's bound to be something on the way. How do you all travel, do you have cars or wings or what?" Best to know now, so they could figure out the easiest way to get wherever they were going.
"Can't drive, but can run hella fast over buildings and through alleyways. And fly."
