The government have officially declared it: the Hunters were being called. The creature, the one everyone feared, was back, and turning more people to stone than ever. The president's daughter had been killed too. The Hunters, the most powerful group of people in history, were being ordered to hunt this creature down and kill it. The problem was that nobody knew who the members of the Hunters were, including the Hunters themselves.
Levira sighed and ran a hand through her hair. This would be harder than everyone thought. She had never met any of the other Hunters without their mask on, and had no idea what their real voices even sounded like!
Milly tapped her foot impatiently, So wait…we get to see who the other hunters are?! She was much too excited at a time like this, her golden eyes sparkled underneath her mask.
Levira pulled her mask over her face and pulled her uniform on. She listened hard to see if any of her parents were awake, then slid the window open and climbed out.

Miles muttered some swears to himself as his sleeve caught on the door he was walking through. His wings were already itching and he didn't want to be here. It's not my fault that the monster's back.
Milly was waiting at the meeting place, looking around hoping another Hunter would show up, she hated being alone.
Levira leaped to a building beside her and began to run, jumping onto rooftops in the direction of the meeting place.
Tessa scowled at her phone once again as she begrudgingly made her way to the meeting place if the Hunters. Her step father had texted her saying that she was also being asked to help, but more quietly. Tch. Typical. They want you gone until they get backed into a corner.
She pulled her large black jacket's hood over her head, then adjusted the cloth mask that covered everything but her eyes. It'll have to do. Her black ripped skinny jeans and combat boots weren't exactly Hunter material, but at least people were used to her wearing old, ratty clothes as opposed to clean and expensive ones. This is going to be a nightmare.
When she got to the meeting place, there was only one person there. She dropped silently to the ground behind the person and stood, hidden in the shadows.
Miles jumped down from the scaffolding, his coat slowing his descent. He adjusted his mask, the gold blood-looking drips glinting light off of them.
Milly looked around some more then called out, “Is anyone else here yet?”
Levira stepped out of the shadows. "No," she said sarcastically. "No one is here yet."
Milly whirled around, “That was sarcasm, but hello! I’m Milly!” She pulled down her mask slightly to reveal her sparkly gold eyes.
Levira examined her closely. "You're new at this, aren't you?"

"Oh thank god, I'm not the only one," a girl poked her head out from behind a door and sighed with relief. "Hello there! The name's Porta." Her mask, which covered her mouth with a set of ornate ivory teeth, muffled her voice.
Levira rolled her eyes, crossing her eyes. "Both of you are amatures. Don't you know the number one rule? Don't give away your identity!"
Milly nodded, “Just a bit, yes. I probably shouldn’t have given my real name. Oh well!” She turned to Porta, “Nice to meet you.”
Levira scoffed. If she was to be working with these freaks it was better to be going solo.
Tessa reached the meeting place, perched up in the rafters as she watched the others carelessly give out their names. Thankfully she had thought ahead and had dyed her hair jet black and straightened it until it was glossy. She also wore contacts that made her eyes look dark green. The black getup also further hid her identity.
Her senses tingling, Levira glanced around, pulling her mask further up her face. She spotted someone on the rooftops and smirked to herself. This one knew what they were doing. She slipped back into the shadows, her black clothes blending into the darkness as she watched, golden eyes alert.
Miles remained silent, analyzing the women in front of him. His hands were folded against his waist as he did so.
Tessa glanced down, searching for someone specific. Seems like Taran isn't here. Pity. Would've loved a great cat-fight.
Milly watched her leave and pulled her mask up all the way again, “I don’t think she likes me very much…” she said quietly.
A noise was heard, and Levira turned to see a girl standing next to her. She jumped and then sighed. "I bet you're going to tell me who you are too, just like those other fools."
The girl laughed. "No."
Levira grinned in spite of herself. "I'm Wolf."
The girl's eyes glinted. "Black Rose."
Tessa leaned over and grinned when she heard the familiar name. Bingo. She waved her hand to get Black Rose's attention.
