"I don't know all the details. Some sort of evil candlemaker that we need to murder with his own candles. Apparently his candles are magic and do strange things." Blade shrugged.

Jordie glances over to Dawn and blinks yes. (-.– . …)
"I don't know all the details. Some sort of evil candlemaker that we need to murder with his own candles. Apparently his candles are magic and do strange things." Blade shrugged.
Shaziri hums, "Mkay. So I'm guessing he's at that scary-looking tower there?"
She points to the black spire peeking up over the treetops.
"That's what we think," Blade said with a shrug. "Should we go over and see if there's anything we need to be aware of over there?"
Shaziri grins and nods, "Sounds like a plan to me."
Blade starts walking faster, feeling a sense of dread pricking at the back of her neck.
Jordie blinks in agreement.
While the two women scout ahead, Phoenix turns to the rest of the group.
"When everyone's ready, we'll follow them," he says, "And stay alert. There might be more of those weird candles out there."
Dawn entered the very outer layer of Jordie's thoughts, knowing only what Jordie was actively trying to convey. "want to test it out?"
Jordie envisions the word yes.
"it works. that's great! I'll leave the connection open, so if you need me to say anything, i'll hear it immediately." Dawn said, smiling happily.
"Amazing, sounds great." Jordie transmits.
Dawn nods, so jordie would know she heard her.
Jordie's eyes brighten in thankfulness.
(aww i'm loving building these bonds between characters)
(I totally agree!)
Titus couldn't help but smile ever so slightly at the rag-taggle group.
emilie noticed, but didnt say anything. "the misfits are off to murder a candlemaker." she muttered. "how fun."
Titus' smile fell.
"Leave me out of the killing."
Emilie: "Oh! i'm so sorry, i didn't mean to say that allowed." The six-year-old groaned. "I'm really sorry."
"We're going to avoid killing if we can," Phoenix says with a slight frown, "At the moment, we're just trying to get out of here."
Emilie frowned. "If there are cameras around here, i can guide us. give me a second to check." Emilie closed her eyes, still following the group.
Titus stared at her.
"Is that improper talk for a six-year-old? if so, don't be embarrassed. I've heard far worse."
Phoenix cocks his head curiously at Emilie, "What's a camera?"
"i… Uhm… they are a mass of wires inside a metal casing that can see, and transmit the sight to a different device. And, yes, it is improper talk for a six-year-old, but more than anything, i didn't mean to make you uncomfortable. I wasn't planning on killing anyone unless there was no other option." Emilie said. "There are cameras… but none of them are active. or even set up. but its alright, i have one that can fly! Violet, to the skies. look for a path." emilie said, and a robot that was hyperrealistic and looked like a bluebird flew out of her jacket, and up over the trees.
Titus nodded, pleased with the girl's response.
"If it makes you feel better, I was not uncomfortable. I merely do not have the desire nor wish to be in a position to kill someone. As I said before; I find it unnecessary."
"Alright. i do too. most of the time." Emilie said, closing her eyes again. "There isn't a set path… where are we trying to go?"
"The spire," Phoenix responds, pointing to the black tower in the distance, "Hopefully, Shay and Blade will be back with more details before we get there, though."
"Ooohhhh!" Emilie said. "We need to get them back, now. There is a herd of giraffe-terrier-wasp-elephants. like…. flying elephants with long necks, stingers, a terrier snout, and a lot of malice." (dont even ask)
Titus raised an eyebrow.
"How do you figure?"
