"We'll see," Blade mutters under her breath. She looks around, searching for danger instinctively. She can't see anything… yet.

(press x for doubt)
(?)
(and good question with the candles. y'know, i am really just…desensitized to the thought of killing someone. that's not good sweatdrops )
(the doubt thing was for Jordie's response earlier)
(Okay… why was it decided we had to murder someone with candles? We could melt the wax and suffocate this candlemaker, I guess…)
(idk i just thought it was poetic man. i was also thinking like if a candle is long enough and they sharpen the end they could stab him? man now i wish i could tag this rp as "explicit violence" oy vey)
(Probably magic candles… maybe more metaphorical magic, like a candle flame holds the magic of the land So maybe we just have to use their candles to take back the magic they stole?)
(True… we'll have to think about that.)
(i like maglo's idea! also just realized the candles are v Encanto like, dang it. we'll figure it out when we get there ig)
Wren nods slightly. "Okay. . . if they try, I can stop them anyways. . . but it takes so much energy."
(Uh, is she referring to Shade?)
(Aaaaannndd I'm back!)
Phoenix frowns at the sky, lost in his own world. On one hand, he wants to help this world; really, he does. But on the other… he need the weight of human blood on his hands.
(Yeah sorry lol)
(Hi!)
Wren looks over at Pheonix, their silver eyes staring intently at him. They were fascinated by both Blade and Pheonix, bot stunningly pretty in their eyes.
(hello!)
Blade debates on what do to. She already has human blood on her hands. But should she add more? So soon? She gazes at Wren, who is looking intently at both her and Pheonix.
(This has gotten intensely philosophical so fast)
Shade stares at the 3 all contemplating murder. Personally, he didn't want to kill someone again. He didn't want to get caught up in someone else's problem. That was other people's thing. Shade just wanted to go home. Be somewhere safe. But if it was the only way out… Then that's that. Life was pretty brutal sometimes.
Wren only wavers when the almost unbearable urge to blink hits them. They blink multiple times.
They were finding it hard to breath through their mask - maybe a side effect of the new environment - so they pull it off, revealing their soft yet angular face, and then look up at Blade.
They smile softly.
(Lol yeah)
(I know… but this was already strange)
Blade sighs. "I say we do it. There's no way I'm getting stuck here forever." She looks at Wren. "What do you think?" She asks quietly, looking at their maskless face.
Wren takes a breath, looking down.
"If I have to. . . I'll fight. I can be the last resort. I don't understand the full extent of my power yet. . ." they murmur. They look back up at Blade. "I'll do it for you, big sister. And for big brother."
"Whatever it takes…" Shade whispers inaudibly under his breath, a dark and remorseful look on his face.
"Whatever it takes," Blade agrees, hearing him. "And I'll do it for you, little brother." She smiles at him.
Wren's face lights up with a broad smile when Blade agrees. They are now willing to lay down their life for two people in the entire world.
Blade calls Luna to her. She whispers an order to the wolf, who nods and comes to stand next to Wren. "Luna's willing to help too," she says quietly.
Wren looks over at the wolf and blinks for a moment before shrinking away slightly.
"Big sister, why do you have a wolf?" they ask quietly.
