Phoenix's eyes pop, "Um, wow, okay, didn't know we'd have to resort to murder here, uh…"
Phoenix's eyes pop, "Um, wow, okay, didn't know we'd have to resort to murder here, uh…"
(yeahhhh im just now realizing that im pretty desensitized to death and violence now sweatdrop…)
The naiad tilts their head. “An eye for an eye, blood for blood. One man’s life for a land’s is a small penalty to pay for how much harm he has wrought here on top of our original troubles.”
(Lol, Phoenix is just your classic Chosen One golden boy who does his best to be The Last BraincellTM)
Shade smirks. "Now we're talking! Murder is something I can get behind!"
(arrow i genuinely LOLed at that XD)
(Aight, unfortunately, I gotta go ;-;. Catch you guys later!)
(Byyyyyyyyeeee)
Cole stares at the naiad with pursed lips. "…Is there an option B? Or Z perhaps?" He's just fifteen, he doesn't need blood on his hands! (Yet.)
(bye arrow! ttyl!)
The naiad looks straight at Cole and narrows their eyes. “You know what I will say, flesh child.”
Rosjāi watches an listens, unfazed by the talk of murder - or at least seemingly unaffected.
But Wren whimpers and covers their ears, squeezing their eyes shut.
(bye arrow! ttyl!)
(see ya!)
Blade nods. "My question is how we're going to murder someone with candles." She walks over to Wren. "It's okay," she whispers to him.
Rosjāi pauses for a moment, then tilts her head.
"Hey, I have an idea." she says, looking down at Wren and gently pulling their hands from their ears.
"Hey, love. I'm going to let Blade take care of you for a bit, okay?" she murmurs. Wren's eyes slowly open, and they look up at Rosjāi.
"Will. . . . will you come back?" they whisper.
She nods. "Yes, my love. I always do."
They nod, and let Rosjāi set them down. They slowly go over to Blade and grab ahold of her sleeve.
"I'll be back. There's something I want to go check." Rosjāi says.
"Just barely fourteen years old, and I'm already being asked to murder someone. With candles, no less. Definitely not something I thought I'd get into!" Jordie said, burying her head into Luna's silky fur.
Shade bursts out laughing. "Man, you guys are young! Well, we don't exactly need to kill them. We don't have any reasons to help this place, so we only have to kill the guy if we really want to."
Blade pulls Wren closer to her and rubs Luna's fur. "Be careful," she calls to Rosjāi.
Rosjāi nods. "I will be. I've spent most of my life on the run, so I know how to escape."
She jogs away, her long legs carrying her away quickly.
Wren looks up at Blade.
"Big sister." they murmur quietly. "Why is Shade laughing? I'm 19, but I dont want to kill anyone either."
"Shade's kinda crazy," Blade whispers, low enough that Shade can't hear her. "And we might not have to kill anyone. We'll figure this out."
Wren nods thoughtfully. "My mom was crazy too. She killed my dad. I saw it happen. I don't like crazy people."
Blade tenses slightly, memories flashing through her head. She hides a single tear and says, "I know. But I'll keep you safe. And Shade won't kill anyone." She shoots a glare at Shade.
"I'm so sorry that happened," Jordie said, her voice softening. "I have lot of personality, but I promise I'm not crazy."
(Ya suuuuure?)
(BAHAHAHA. I'm positive.)
