Uhmm idk if anyone else has noticed this but I think that if you are on the site but ur device that ur useing isnt active you still register as on the site if the device is on the page. This may be a bit of a problem with rps getting held up and people getting frustrated cuz they think someone's on but they are not…. just a thing…

@Miranda

Some more pages that were available to non-premium users would be really nice tbh

I SO agree!! Even if it to begin with only means that we get 1 more page, I would love it. And perhaps 2 more univeres, (so it's 7) and not only 5…

I know it's been said before, but we desperately need some sort of flagging/reporting system, and maybe the ability to block a specific user from a specific chat that we made. We don't really have any power over trolls other than deleting a whole thread now (which is not a great way to go for this type of thing). Since this site hosts a lot of younger users, I think that system should become more of a priority so they can better protect themselves and feel safer.

I havent encountered issues like this but if other people have then it should definitely be a thing…

Same. I'm glad that the people I've been chatting with have been nothing but nice to me, but there's always exceptions that need to be dealt with

I second this fully

what happened was not okay

@NobleWolf

I also think there should be a "reason for flagging" filter if we're going to be allowed to delete other comments, just to make sure people don't do it out of spite

@NobleWolf

So the options would be like:

  • Explicit sexual content
  • Slurs
  • Off-topic troll comments on posts
  • Harrassment

Yeah, those are good examples

Alright, so I have some suggestions for prompts:

  1. Is there any way we can have an (almost) unlimited stream of prompts? It's just pulling stuff from our pages, so it should always be able to come up with something, given that you have blank categories on pages
  2. Could you make it so that prompts are focused? I know we can do focus by universe, but I'm talking more about specific categories, like an option to have only character prompts or location prompts pop up. It's a little thing, but it's kind of a pain to sort through worldbuilding prompts when you're trying to work on characters

Both pretty minor things, but I think they would be a lot easier to use this way.
Another little thing: If there isn't a way yet, could you make it so that on our pages, we can move things from one category to another? I added some things to custom categories that belong under another category back before we were able to add our own things to default categories. (For example, I have a thing called "fears" under a custom category, and I'd like to move it into the nature category, but I've tried and can't do it.)

Quick thing that came to me…

When I use the prompts stuff sometimes I will put "idk" or "none" in a category so I dont get prompts in that section cause I know I wont be able to answer any time soon… but is it possible to add a prompts/editing feature that allows you to get prompts in a category that has a certain keyword or phrase in it?

Hey, this is really just me being nitpicky, but can we flip around the arrow on the world filter option thingy so that it matches the others? It's backwards and it's kind of bothering me.

Also, in response to the person above me: Maybe have an option to turn certain fields on or off in the template editor.

Yes! There should be an (almost) unlimited stream of prompts based on what isn't being filled out. Unfortunately that doesn't look to be the case for all pages, so I'm working on a fix to ensure no one (almost) ever runs out of prompts.

I think I can set something like this up. :)

Oof, I guess I missed this during coding. I've got more improvements planned for the template editors, so I'll make sure this finds its way into the to-do list there as well.

I'll have to think on the best way to get this done. I am indeed going to have ways to turn on/off prompts for particular fields soon so hopefully people wouldn't have to resort to sticking idk in some fields to stop being asked about it, but maybe I can get something working that helps out for fields that already have those kinds of placeholder answers.

Ha, that dang menu is the bane of my not-a-designer existence. I flipped the arrow around intentionally to show "these links are different from the ones below" (since they modify what you see on your current page, rather than taking you to a new page), but obviously there's still some more design work to be done here. I'll figure something else out. :)

@halfging3r Chihuahua Mom

Thanks so much! For the arrow, you could make it white, since it's on a blue background. That would make it different.

@FictionWriter09 group

Not sure where you would fit it, but how about a word count somewhere in the document feature. I always find it a bit of a motivator to see exactly the amount of words I've written. Also the ability to upload a profile picture without creating an account to a separate site

@divetoheart

A page for legends, myths, folk-tales, prophecies, etc. I don’t know if that’s maybe the best way to do it, because I know the race pages and such have fields like that but my dilemma calls for something a bit different.

Basically, I have a legend of 9 “Beasts of Legend”. It’s a worldwide thing, so it wouldn’t fit under one racial category, and there’s no religion behind it or anything. These creatures exist, according to legend.
What I’m trying to do though is have all 9 of these beasts on the same page, but obviously, these are 9 different creatures that I would like to describe. I could easily make fields for this sort of expansive description but a page where I could put it all would be extremely helpful.

Just in the long run, I think a Legends page could be used in a wide variety of ways.

I just realized that this would be really useful for some aspects of my world and it's history. I fully second this motion!

That sounds sooo good!

2 Suggestions! (I'm sure they have already been mentioned buuuuuuut)

  • a feature where we can create a 'Timeline' for our universes? Just to make it a bit easier to plan out plot lines and such!
  • a 'Map" feature so we can have a visual representation of our universes?

Thanks so much!
