On the water-planet, known to outsiders as A-Kon-Deya, a war has been going on for more then 3 generation.

Since there is only few landmass on A-Kon-Deya, the three main countries have been at war over it for over three generations.
To protect the sought after fertile land from being damaged in the war, it is exclusively fought between submarines.

Originally based on a surreal nightmare that was just too interesting in concept to not explore it

Physics behave in a relative realistic sort of fashion

The Technologie on A-kon-deya is on a diesel-punk-ish level with a view specific things to the planet. ( Technologie can be more or less advanced on other planets)

There is no magic

compatible to a whole bunch of other Sci-Fi universes

"Deep Space Nine" and "Firefly"
