It all started with an egg.

From the egg,came Ozthar,Phoenix of Light,that created the Stars and Planets.However,from the rests of the egg,came Foysus,Phoenix of Dark,that created the Void and the Black Holes.
Together,they created Life.Ozthar gave those created by light Hopes and Dreams.Foysus,jealous of those alive praising Ozthar,created Sorrow and Despair,plaguing humanity.

To combat that,Ozthar created Sotmir,God of Virtues,that would rule the Universe with an Iron Fist while Ozthar would go into a great slumber.

Foysus,seeing how much Ozthar and Sotmir powers had grown,decided to sacrifice itself to create a god more powerful than Sotmir.Then,from the Shadows of Foysus,came Hedros,God of Dusk,that attacked Sotmir.He also attacked Hedros.

The powerful touch between Light and Darkness made a huge shock wave full of Plasma and Arcana,that created Magic.After the shock,all became white.1 second later,it came back to normal,but something had changed.All of the universe was infused with Magic,along with the God of Virtues,that used it to seal the God of Dusk for the time.Unfortunately,the shock wave also created dark creatures,without light in their hearts,who started to praise the sealed God and despise the other.

After that,Sotmir created lesser gods,to help him.One major God for each galaxy,and smaller ones to take care of Planetary Systems.And long continues the life of the universe.
All hail the Almighty Sotmir,Mother of All.

As said before,magic is everything in Vintus.It controls society,and only the most powerful magic users may rule as chiefs,kings and masters.

Throughout the galaxies,technology isn't very advanced.The creatures learned to do everything with magic.They summon Golems to do the hard work,they used Levitation to do the easy work,they go to universities of Arcana,their life is surrounded by magic.

When the egg hatched,all stabilized.Those who could fly would.Those who couldn't,had to live with it.But since Magic took over Vintus,the laws of physics got a bit broken,letting creatures fly or levitate at will.
