Shiryu,being a Draconic,is actually a dragon in a human vessel,and he can transform in and out of the dragon form as he wishes.However,he doesn't enjoy it,as it causes too much damage.

Shiryu is Smart and Passionate of his job.

Shiryu spends his time taking care of Nankaia,a famous Arcana College that constantly gets attacked by the Cults.

Shiryu keeps remembering his past,where he failed to protect the university,and hell fell loose.
He also has thoughts about failing to protect the students,which would lead him to be removed from the Council.

On top of the Greatest University of Arcana,Nankaia,the Counsil resides,protecting the people and banishing the corrupt.On the day of the invasion,hell broke loose in the academy,and many students and teachers were dying the hands of the Cults.However,a member of the Counsil stood up and fought them:Shiryu defeated every single cult member that invaded that day,because of his Dragon Form.Unfortunately,during the massacre of the Cultists,multiple students died by his Holy Flames accidentaly.This really hit Shiryu,and he couldn't stand to use his Dragon Form anymore.The Guardian,seeing his courage,overlooked the innocent deaths and gave him the 𝓐𝓵𝓬𝓱𝓮𝓶𝓲𝓼𝓽 𝓢𝔂𝓶𝓫𝓸𝓵 of Fire,that transformed him into a Demi-God.He also gained the Angelic Grimoire,which let him use the magic of the angels.

Shiryu is the only one the the 5 Demi-Gods that has a high-education,having a graduation in Light Magic and Fire Magic.
