Shoombas are like Goombas except more triangular and pointy, without eyebrows, and with the head and body colors switched. That's all there really is to say on the matter.

Magical ability in Shoombas is extremely rare. Even when present, it tends to be very weak, as their bodies are not capable of moving much energy around at a time.

Shoombas tend to live with their extended families in villages with other Shoombas, often with several generations to a household. Nearly all of them live under Mowser's rule, and they're often drafted to serve in the front lines of the war against Princess Pear.
