Bronze Fir Woods

Bronze Fir Woods is the name given to the sparse forests that decorate The Desolate Wastes.

The Bronze Fir Woods get their name from the peculiar bronze coloring of the trees in The Desolate Wastes. It is often thought that underground veins of Cold Bronze give the trees their color, but Dwarven mining operations veiled no results.

Nhefian is the widely spoken language in The Desolate Wastes, thus Nhefian is the most common language in the Bronze Forests as well.

The Bronze Fir Woods -due to their harsh climate- remains unpopulated, save for the undomesticated creatures that roam the woods.

The Bronze Fir Woods are in the lower flatlands of The Desolate Wastes, the trees only grow in these flatlands, even having spread to the northern island in The Arching Heavens chain.

The Bronze Fir Woods is known widely for its bronze colored wood. the wood from the trees is exported to more southern climates where those of wealth use it for furnishings due to its unique coloring and high durability.

It is located in the The Desolate Wastes, spread across most of the region.

The climate in the forests is exactly like the rest of The Desolate Wastes, cold and unforgiving.
