The Under Sewers
The Under Sewers are the source for nearly all of the black market goods that are found in Shadows Alley .
The Under Sewers makes Shadows Alley look like a children's park.
If you can find it and survive it, you can buy anything imaginable for half the cost of what you'll pay in Shadows Alley .
In the Under Sewers you are buying directly from the source and not some middle- man pawn.
There are no written laws just some arbitrary rules that are enforced by members of the Rat Risers acting as a security force for the city.
As the name implies the Under Sewers are found beneath the sewer's of Gateway. Few know of it's existence and fewer still know how to get there.
There are several hidden entrances the gain access to the undersewer from the surface that are located throughout the sewers.
There are two main ways to bring goods in. Both pose challenges.
First, there is a complex tunnel system has been excavated that leads out to several small, hidden coves along the coast where pirates and smugglers, using small boats, ferry in goods that are offloaded and carried in by hand through the tunnels.
Smuggling goods in through the sea tunnels has the inherent risk of being discovered by authorities.
The second way to bring in goods comes from tunnels that are even deeper underground and can be traced back to several Dark Elf settlements that are much deeper below the surface.
Bringing goods in through the Underdark carries the risk of your cargo being stolen from you by any number of unaffiliated criminal underdark organizations.
The Under Sewers were established by the Rat Risers to funnel all of their illicit black market goods to the surface. Most of their inventory moves through Shadows Alley .
The Under Sewer is a city unto itself. With a thriving market with merchants and vendors, their own version of a security force, and a robust community made up of every race and every caste.
The Under Sewer is a dangerous place. Anarchy rules here with arbitrary laws enforced by criminals.
Here is where you will learn, no matter how good you think you are at killing; someone is better.
