Void Zone

The Void Zone is the name given to the space between Realms. It stretches endlessly in all directions and is filled with wisps of deadly Void Magic, which renders safe travel through it nearly impossible. The native Shades have evolved their own series of defensive mechanisms, though they too are in constant danger of having their Souls absorbed.

Aside from the Void energy, however, the Void Zone is relatively hospitable. It reaches extremely cold temperatures, but with protective gear, it is not particularly difficult to survive. There is also enough air for light Dragons and other hardy races to breathe without issue.
