Novan

Novan is an ancient language originally used by Star Ghosts. Though it has mostly faded out from their culture in favor of being able to communicate with the other Marshroom Kingdom natives, it still exists as a symbol of high class. It relies on many different tones to communicate meaning, as well as a host of suffixes that deal with the color of the object being referred to.

Due to Star Ghosts having a hard time using writing utensils with any precision, written Novan is mostly made of simple straight lines. It is a syllabic language, and some symbols may be combined together to form more complex sounds.
