Great Hyrule Forest

An expansive forest in the Eldin region that is home to many of the land's flora and fauna. The Great Deku Tree and his Koroks live within another forest nestled inside, and it is protected by a strange and frightening mystical presence.

The forest sprang up sometime after the waters of the Great Flood receded, and was named not just for it's massive size, but also it's ecological diversity. It's a mystical and protected forest, and to this day it is impossible to explore in it's entirety.
