The largest city has a population of 46 thousand people, the second largest 23 thousand. There are 4 other cities of note in the kingdom, and 66 towns. The remaining population lives in numerous small villages, isolated dwellings, etc.

The kingdom of Valonde covers an area of 303 thousand square miles. Of this, 35% (108 thousand sq. miles) is arable land, and 64% (194 thousand sq. miles) is wilderness.

The country was originally six separate pirate havens. During the Unification war, the six pirate captains leaders of the havens were forced to work together. With the Blade of Esstrel as their flag ship they fought back the invading Albion forces. Their combined strength and cunning opened their eyes, they decided they are stronger together, then they are alone.
