Milo lost his mother at birth, and lived solely with his father for a long time. His father was abusive though, and so when he was in fifth grade he ran away to make a living for himself. He met Blackie some years later, fell in love, and enticed her with the idea of making a safe place for people like them.

Walks with a slight limp, has a deep laugh, and loves kids
