Eldon Smythe is an elderly lord who grew up in a time that the Old Way was more prevalent. He is still a devout believer in those ways and an avid hunter. During his youth he took great pride in finding even the most discreet trails left by wild game. It was as if each track added to his own legend. He became a very able tracker, but what he enjoyed most was a challenge. Eldon still has that aspect about him; you can find him with his nose down at all times, seeking out the cracks in stone or between grass blades for signs of animal passage.
