Kiara Norrington was a witch and a member of the Norrington Clan. The eldest daughter of Emma and Warren Norrington, as well as the elder twin sister of Emma Norrington, Jr.
A very talented magician, however, she was almost always overshadowed by her twin, Emma and her abilities and ambitions.
Despite her father's abusive tendencies and the fact that she and her sister were growing apart, Kiara loved them deeply. She was also good friends with Aleister, her father's lover.
Emma yelled in Kiara's face that she was no longer her sister and to quit getting in her way shortly after their teenage years began. Kiara's adored sister had become distant with her. The pressure to live up to their father's standards and Kiara's ongoing condoning of his behaviour, despite the fact that it was abundantly evident he didn't care about either of them, were later found to be driving Emma to despair.
Later, she, Emma, and Aleister witnessed Warren complete his seventh attempt at his magnum opus, creating a human vessel for infinite amounts of magic that could handle not just black magic but also white magic and neutral magic.
Upon seeing his beloved sister flee the house, Kiara recognized her father's true nature and his intended outcome. She then made the decision to rebel against him by taking the baby and, with the help of the wolf pack sent by Laurel Nasuka, giving Medea to an unidentified foster family.
After coming back home, Warren was not pleased, and that was the last time Kiara lived to see another day.
