He's very weird and closed-off. He isn't very good (or experienced) in communicating with other people, so he often comes off as creepy. The only people he surrounds himself with are people he can relate to (other closed off, awkward people). He's always been extremely introverted.

He's very book-smart, has several degrees in various STEM fields, but if you asked him who has the right-of-way at a stop sign, he'd be at a loss.

He spent most of his childhood as an only child in a very religious family in Beverly Hills, until he was about 12 years old and his mother gave birth to his brother, Antony Jaxon . His parents started focusing all their attention on him. He got all the love and praise and gifts, meanwhile, they couldn't even be bothered to teach Cult how to drive. Because of the neglect he experienced, he began rejecting many of his parents values and lifestyles. He veered away from their Catholicism and started living a much simpler life than the extravagance they had provided him. He applied to be emancipated and moved into a small apartment in Riverside. When he graduated, he was offered a full ride academic scholarship for UC Riverside, where he studied mechanical engineering. At UCR, he met his first love, Stasha , who was studying humanities. After he graduated, he was offered a job at Boston Scientific, which would take him to San Jose. Deciding they couldn't handle a long distance relationship, Cult and Stasha mutually broke up. He had spent several decades working there when he was kidnapped by The Citizens . This is where he met Ana De La Cruz , who he built a very strong bond with in his time there, but at one point, she disappeared. When he figured her to be dead, he escaped, fed up with his supervisors broken moral compass and not wanting to be next. He made his way back to Los Angeles, settling down in Santa Monica. It was there that he built his bunker, preparing for the impending apocalypse.
