Everyone except Knight (also children and mothers) He suffers from severe paranoia and anxiety due to amnesia and is very skeptical of the world around him

He stutters in his speech, most likely due to the head trauma from the fall that gave him amnesia

He wants to find a new home, far away from his old one. Despite his amnesia, he has a feeling he shouldn't go back to his old home.

Despite his title (and name) as Mage, he cannot use magic. It's unknown if this is a handicap due to amnesia, or he doesn't want to.

He's very good with children and mothers
He knows a lot about the history of the world and of the Giants
He knows right where to shank to ensure a kill (which is why most people don't die to his shanks. He allows them to live.)

He likes tending to flowers in between towns
He enjoys playing with children and gossiping with mothers when in towns
Even though he really hasn't killed anyone, it's VERY cathartic for him when there's a brawl between Star Beasts and he gets to shank them

As stated like six times in this one page, he suffers from a serious case of amnesia. Not only has he forgotten his own name, he also forgot his family, home, and why he fell in the first place. Mage also is excruciatingly paranoid as defined by his very first meeting with Knight, where Mage pulled a knife out of nowhere and tried to shank Knight. This led to them being fast friends.

As he slowly relearns about the world he lives in, Mage becomes more comfortable around the people around him and open up more as he makes more friends. His speech also becomes more stable, but he always stutters on certain words and sounds. He's annoyed by loud sounds, terrified of the dark, and has neat singing voice that he still stutters on, but it's nice either way. He and knight make a great karaoke duo.

At first he doesn't know any magic. None whatsoever. Basically useless. It isn't until later as the story progresses, he learns more abilities and can perform high level spells to protect the Squad.

Because he is slowly learning magic again, he gets caught off guard by new spells and often gets himself in trouble with legal officials with their, "Are you sure you're a real mage?" spiel.

He's getting there.

Amnesia. He woke up in the forest where he met the Knight.

He knows about the entire history of the world, but apparently can't write. Not only that, but he's not caught up on most societal norms in his world since he was knocked out cold for who knows how long. He has extensive, almost encyclopedic knowledge of magic, but can't use it for an unknown reason.
