As the third son of the Royal family, he looked up to his older siblings and inspired to be like them. Unfortunately, he had a hard time building muscle and quickly gave up being a fighter like them. Instead, he worked hard and study hard to become well versed in economics, eventually becoming better than his eldest brother. Vidar being only a year younger, the two grew up together and competed with each other on nearly everything. Vidar would push Asher around since he was weaker and smaller causing Asher to dislike Vidar. When Rosallyn is born, Vidar favors her heavily, being kinder to her than he ever was to him and Rosallyn loves him back more than any of their siblings. His jealousy and disdain towards his younger siblings only grow as Vidar dies ruining their family and Rosallyn runs off in search of a dead man. Asher mourns his brother but deals with his clashing disdain for Vidar making it hard for him to admit his sorrow for losing him
