Silver Dragonborn
January 14th, 1392
Indris was conceived while her mother was still adventuring, after a drunken night spent with a fellow in the wake of her home being overrun. Naja Walker was technically pregnant when she became a noble, she just didn't know it yet, and the infant Indris was born a few months after the evil responsible for the events leading to her conception was defeated.
Given that her father, Throthgar White-Fang, was also dragonborn it wasn't unexpected that Indris came out as such. What was unexpected was that Naja wasn't able to reach Throthgar after the battle to tell him she was pregnant, and outside of a single letter explaining he might never be able to know his child she received no communication from him. Even the guild didn't quite know where he'd gone, leaving Naja to grapple with being a noble again and raise a child all on her own.
For a while Indris was fine with being a noble and knowing she'd probably take the throne one day, but she always asked about her father. All her mother could tell her was that the man was traveling and hunting dragons, because that was all she'd managed to find out over the years. Indris wanted to meet her father, and Naja was determined that if she'd do that she'd at least do it safely so she set her daughter up with a tutor by pulling in a few favors.
The The Order of the First Storm provided the teacher. They didn't have any dragon hunters, but they did have undead hunters and that was good enough. The man used a set of seven bells to cast spells and fight the undead, and Indris had what it took to use them because of her father's inherent magical power as well. From 8 to 16 Indris trained with the mentor whose name she never knew, became junior hunter and then a full-fledged hunter, and worked jobs that dealt with the undead and demons in hopes of coming across her father.
She never did, but instead he returned to Naja when Indris was 16 and still away in training with his goal complete. The woman reached out to her daughter to recall her home, and Indris happily returned to spend time with her father. She was content to leave the adventuring life behind now that she'd found him, but the Order had a different idea. The previous guildmaster for the adventurers guild in Myrin was retiring soon, and knowing she'd had at least some noble upbringing and would know how to deal with people they reached out to Indris and offered her the position of guildmistress. While she'd have to stay with the guild hall most of the time the pay was good and Indris put the money towards helping her mother.
Indris really wasn't prepared for the job and struggled with it at first, but she eventually found her comfort zone and settled in. When her baby sister wanted to marry Syllia Juliana Caphaxath
, a convicted felon Indris had rescued from prison to make use of her abilities recruiting her as an adventurer, Indris was livid. She opposed the union but seemed to be the only one, her parents just happy Dimira Walker had found someone regardless of who that someone was, and she made sure to interfere as much as possible but that didn't seem to deter them and eventually they were married.
Throthgar died a year later of age and natural causes, and Indris withdrew from the rest of her family. She barely talks to her mother, will only talk to Dimira if it's necessary, refuses to go anywhere near Juliana, and has only seen Naivara Walker a few times. The more time passes the more she appears to be acting like the previous guildmistress, which no one is questioning it since any who are old enough to remember serving under multiple guild leaders know that this always seems to happen eventually and pass that knowledge on to the younger ones if they seem to be asking too many questions about the shift in Indris' behavior.
