Aatto is too quiet for his own good, and most are quite afraid of him due to his silences.
He does not input in conversations, even when he knows he is correct.
Aatto has a tendency to drift off into a daydream, and wander away from home.
Aatto's heavily animated facial expressions -which make up for his lack of dialogue- often give him away.
Aatto chews his thumbs when nervous.
He also tends to raise his eyebrows and wiggle them a lot, as well as bobbing on the spot when excited.
He is motivated by his mothers words and his sisters successes.
Aatto is heavily against the people of Kehitys, and despises anyone born there. He has been conditioned by the word of Häirikkö Jari Korhonen and the people of Aurinkoinen Luola
(Sunny Cave) to hate the industrial.
Aatto is a skilled carpenter. After being taught in the small school, Aatto is now skilled in creating wooden totems, tools and furniture.
Aatto is also good at fishing and sketching.
Aatto enjoys spending days by the river fishing, sketching creatures he finds in the forest, helping Eeva create poultices and carving new tools and toys for himself.
Not the most rambunctious boy, Aatto is a fairly lonely person.
He is quiet, shy, and rarely speaks.
He only usually opens up to his sister.
When angered, Aatto is a slow burner, and will eventually erupt.
Most other kids his age are quiet afraid of him, as he has a sense of being unpredictable.
Aatto is often deemed young for his age, as he daydreams often and finds sentiment in toys.
Aatto was simply born in Aurinkoinen Luola
(Sunny Cave), raised and adored by the whole village.
Aatto completes the optional education system held by a village volunteers.
This education ends at age 16, and teaching basic reading and writing as well as the ways of the forest.
