She got that PTSD. It's gonna be a fun ride.

She likes to steal from humans. Even though she is half human and half sylph and has rejected they Sylphan way of life, she doesn't particularly like humans either. She knows that they are out for Sylphan blood (literally, it has special properties that the humans desire). She basically rejects both parts of her physical blood. Noble Sylph and human (eventually finds out that it's noble human blood as well).

She loves to read and draw. She likes to run as well. When she's alone, she likes to practice the acrobatic skills she has.

Because her grandfather sexually abused her for many years, she is often afraid of the more intimate and physical sides of life. Hugs are alright, but it also depends on the person. For example, people in her life like Mirella Dressler or Caelen Dressler are people that she doesn't mind showing physical types of love to. Such as hugs, or small kisses on the cheek etc. but it's never much more than that. She often used one of her ex-girlfriends as a way of rebellion. She did feel love toward the girl, but the intimate things that happened at night, she didn't exactly like them.

She wants to leave behind her life at Terrana and go anywhere but there. She has hate for any noble of the Sylph world unless they prove themselves otherwise. Which is a rare occasion. Basically, she is just looking for freedom. She feels that if she has to stay at the palace for the rest of her life, she will rather kill herself.

When she's scared or nervous she digs her nails into her hands or wrists so she often has scars around there.
She hums to herself when she thinks no one is listening and she's deep in thought/very focused on something.
When she's around people she trusts and she's very excited about something, she gestures with here hands a lot.
Often she is quiet and just mutters to herself when she around her family or is at a royal function though. She doesn't really like any of the royals. But when she's around people she trusts she can be loud and boisterous. She is quite the extrovert but has been trained basically to be quiet in any situation she's not familiar or comfortable in, such as court or around new people that she doesn't trust yet.

She has two.
1. Outgoing and sassy. She'll say anything she likes and not care what the repercussions are. She likes to run a lot and she wrestles a lot with Kalen (when they were best friends)
2. Depressed/shy. This is usually when she has to go to something that has to do with family meetings or nobility dinners. She'll be sad, not talking unless spoken to
She has a fear of rejection which is why she doesn't ask for help, doesn't let people close,

She hates spiders.
She can be very headstrong when she wants to be, but around the wrong people, she is a pushover, and they usually abuse that. Typically, it's her extended family who are also nobles that live in the palace. They abuse her and make fun of her for being a half-breed Sylph. She is half human and half Faerie, and no one lets her forget it.

She hates her family, and just about all noble Faerie, whether they are from Terrana or the other kingdoms. She likes her father okay though but he's not Fae, he's human.

She loves practicing her fighting and it is very acrobatic if she has space. It's one of the things that gives her a feeling of freedom.
Most Faerie that are from Terrana have one of two different elemental powers: minerals/earth powers (summoning of minerals, moving/manipulating the earth), or plant/animal powers (can grow plants from their seeds and manipulate them to their will, can speak to animals, some that focus specifically on animals can sometimes morph into a certain animal), typically people can only do one really well. Sometimes they can do both, but it doesn't provide time to really master the powers. Sam has had so much time to herself, and with Caelen Dressler (who has an affinity for animals), that she has been able to almost master both of them.

She is a princess in Terrana, but she's so far removed in the line of succession it doesn't matter. She is a princess in name only. So, as she grew up, she joined the soldiers. She trained for a few years to become good enough. That's where she is when the story starts, but after she's forcibly married to Azar Ignatius they both become emissaries for the kingdom (again, kind of against their will, but it was kind of a "you don't have a choice other than death" situation)

She follows the same religion that all the Sylph believe: The four gods of their world are Terrana god of earth, Oceana goddess of water, Clumoss god of air, and Embrane goddess of fire. There are other Gods of their world but for the Sylph, these are their four main deities. It's a lot like the ancient Greek/Roman religions

She has a strong dislike of any noble/royal unless they prove otherwise
She believes that the people should have direct involvement with the government and that there shouldn't be an all-powerful person ruling over everyone.

At the beginning of her story, she is just a nobody. She doesn't do anything that would gather the eye of the court/her grandfather. But when Azar Ignatius comes from Emberane and they strike a bargain to help each other gain their different ideas of freedom. But before they can actually execute that plan, Azar Ignatius is arrested. Then they free him and he is then FORCED to marry Sam. Though that was apart of their original plan soooo... anyways, after that they are sent to the Oceana Kingdom as ambassadors to prepare for a war to the Embarrians

As high as what was available to her. In medieval times (or similar time period) she learned how to read and write, she learned some calligraphy, learned how to do some arithmetic, etc. But because people back then just didn't really know a lot, if she was transported to today's society, she would seem pretty stupid. But so would everyone else.

Mother was sylph and father was human (unbeknownst to all of them, he was the prince of the closest human kingdom)

Through Sam's teenagerhood, she was often ignored by her cousins and even her father, but her grandfather was actually alright in his treatment toward her
When he ascended to the throne, his personality seemed to change and he began to abuse her, sexually, physically, and verbally. While the first two weren't too much in public, the third was, and it gave way to allowing everyone else in her family to think that they could do it to her as well. And they did. And no one stopped them.
