Jenny is 14 years old and has moved from place to place with her family since she was five. Her father is a wealthy man who follows the money and that is what brought the small family of three to the out-of-the-way town of Cosgrove in Michigan. Jenny is quite accustomed to city life so the new country home took a little getting used to. After so many moves, Jenny has become very adept a making new friends at new schools. When friends were few and far between she turned to writing to fill her time. This time however she was swept up into the "in" crowd at the Cosgrove High School. With her new "friends" helping her become the most popular girl in school, but not really interested in Jenny herself, it's no surprise that Jenny turns back to her writing to make a more enjoyable world.
