he learned from the streets, and as a teen he would sneak outside the aristocratic schools and listen. He got another informal history education from a woman with the resistance who had imegrated from the country formerly known as Brazil after being targeted for political violence there.
February 7th
As a young kid his father lost him in a bet and he was taken to the capital where he was forced to work for his abuser until the man died when he was 7. He lived on the streets until he met Niomi, who's aunt took him in. He grew up as Niomi's brother and became a runner for an underground newspaper when he was 12, him and Niomi worked for them for years until they eventually took over after the leader was killed.
The ear of a little stuffed rabbit his mom gave him when he was a kid. The rest of the toy is long gone but he keeps the tattered little ear in his pocket and tends to rub it when nervous
he isn't a practicng member of any specific religion but finds himself praying to some greater power or God at times. His mother was fervently religious because she felt like she had nothing else to hold on to, and showed that for him as a child.
He is for the resistance which is attempting to take back the country from the rulers who colonized it. The current government, to put it simply, really paints the 'natives' if you can call them that, as criminals and outcasts who aren't intelligent and educated enough to know whats good for them.
"works" at Manna's tea shop, but is actually running the resistance which meets in abandond fallout shelters beneath the city's surface, they print illigal newspapers and run underground schools, not only to educate but to get people ready to rise up in revolution when the time is right.
