Her family is of a lower social class, but her mother and father worked as servants in a higher-class region. They would steal the finer fungi during their pregnancy with her, and thus she came out a much wealthier purple than their respective blue and green complexions. This difference estranged her from her local community, and the revelation of their theft led her parents to be labeled as outlaws from that region and eventually run out of society altogether.
