List of Past and Current Affiliations

  • Missile-Mire is not affiliated with any one faction in particular.
The closest thing he has to "affiliation" is the Mercenary Association League and the various benefits it provides to freelancers. He only works for the RUINATION for two reasons: the exorbitant amount of pay that the RUINATION gives to him and a tenet of their philosophy supports the unrestrained actions of independent mercenaries.

Status

  • In the year 2071, Missile-Mire was presumed dead after the RUINATION attempted an attack against the Olympians, a ruling vassal class sponsored by PentaCorp.
    [MIA]

  • Later on in the year 2090, Missile-Mire was revealed to have survived his demise through unknown means. However, an attempt to capture him courtesy of the PentaCorp Peace Division would go horribly wrong, allowing him to escape to a RUINATION facility.
    [UNKNOWN]

  • Much later in the year 2099, Missile-Mire was dispatched by the RUINATION as a competitor in the Alkaline Games in order to take care of Io. However, this would result in Missile-Mire's seeming demise in the Arena.
    [KIA??]

  • After the Rebellion, Missile-Mire was apparently seen in the territory of Gelian Assault Systems, a Pennsylvanian corporation known for their research into

Relationship with Superiors

  • Missile-Mire has a mercenary relationship with his employer Ruinator.
In contrast with Kein Taxi, Missile-Mire couldn't care less about the goals of the RUINATION and usually operates independently from his associates. While in most circumstances Missile-Mire is willing to abide the requests of Ruinator, he is not loyal to the cause and only sticks around so that he can have fun and gain funds from his freelance work.

Politics - What politics does Missile-Mire have?

  • Like with most things, Missile-Mire doesn't really care about any political ideologies. The only reason Missile-Mire is invested in political talk is because sometimes it affects how much limitation he has in doing his mercenary work.
If you were to ask him what political ideal he supported, Missile-Mire would probably respond with Anarchism, as it supports both his own tenets as well as the philosophy of the RUINATION, GESTALT and MAL organizations.

Character Creation Trivia

  • Originally, Missile-Mire was called the Mire, and was part of the Corpse Patrol, a group which I recycled from a scrapped horror project.
Unlike the other members, the Mire was repurposed for the RUINATION group, as his knife throwing gimmick was replaced with an overwhelming number of missiles, hence his new name.

  • Missile-Mire's shoulders are inspired by the rings of biblically accurate Ophanim, with their eyes translating to the missile pods built into the ring.

  • As suggested by his epithet, Missile-Mire's missile gimmick is inspired by Bullet Hell games, a subgenre of shoot 'em up games that require the player character to dodge large amounts of projectiles.
Specifically, the way that Missile-Mire fires his weapons is derived from both Strikers 1945 III's Green Bender boss and Armored Core VI's Balteus boss.

Notes

Currently, Missile-Mire's design has yet to be uploaded as an image here whether as an AI placeholder or hand drawn creation. This is due to the placeholders not looking much like his canon design.

Trivia

  • Missile-Mire's death was originally going to be saved for the second installment in the series, however once I slimmed down the series to 3-4 installments, Missile-Mire's death was pushed back to an earlier point.
