INFP-T
Diagnosed with Hemolytic Anemia- Gets blood transfusions regularly. This is due to her living on earth and not knowing that she is a vampire. Humans obviously don't know vampires exist, so this is the closest diagnosis to what she's experiencing. Essentially, a vampire's bone marrow doesn't make red blood cells, they need to drink blood to get it. Her parents can't tell her as is tradition, so they get her blood transfusions on the regular.
October 13
High school
She lives in a low class neighborhood with her family, who homeschooled her.
Her Baby Jewel, a white short haired cat, who her parents got as a companion for her, as she was not able to make friends because she was homeschooled.
Mara is a character that shows my deepest insecurities. Creating her has been cathartic and giving her love and friendship and family is relieving to me. She's a melancholic character that's deeply insecure. I think that, when the barriers and apprehension disperse, her and Lilith will be very very close. Both have very deep set insecurities, but their reaction to it is completely different. Lilith's is born from emotional neglect, making her distrustful and hateful, incapable of handling or recognizing her own emotions. Mara's on the other hand, are born from living her whole life with an illness. Much of what she's experienced since she was young is likely very similar to the disabled folks out there: Social Isolation, Discrimination, Bullying, and more. Lilith doesn't even realize she needs or wants friends. Mara wants all of that, but due to the reactions from her peers her whole life, she's come to the conclusion that she must be unworthy of it. She's extremely kind and protective, but has never had the opportunity to show it. Add on finding out she's a vampire, and the truth of her condition, she's going to suffering greatly from a moral standpoint.
