Linc Midora
Game-Loving Swordsman of the HGO
22
Male
He/him
5'8"
155 lbs.
Logo t-shirts, jeans
Linc's long, straight hair is his biggest identifying trait: its natural color is platinum blond, but he keeps it dyed neon lime green. Its length, along with Linc's lean, wiry build, has gotten him called "girly" on multiple occasions much to his chagrin. His narrow nose and high-set eyebrows don't help either. He trains at the gym in Nuova regularly to help put on some muscle mass, enough to show off. If his hair isn't enough for you, he can often be picked out by the pop culture t-shirts he wears. He also has a scar across his left eyebrow, and several large vertical scars on his back.
Going on adventures, swords, joking around with people
Dancing in public, being ignored
Leading an unsatisfying life, insects and spiders, clowns
Video games (adventure and action RPG, especially Fable of Sheek), sparring, pulling pranks
Heterosexual
Linc is extremely enthusiastic, but reckless. He perseveres through just about everything, but is stubborn to a fault. He can be a bit of a goofball and loves being around high-energy people he can nerd out with, eager to try new things on their recommendations. He'll never hesitate to take a dare and can be easily persuaded into things if his ego is threatened. Some people consider him a bit slow on the uptake, but he has a strong heart.
Katana
Linc is an accomplished swordsman. He practices daily at the local gym, sparring with just about anyone willing to meet his challenge. His physical strength and endurance are nothing to laugh at, and his technical skills with the katana are strong as well.
Weapon/equipment maintenance at the Nuova training gymnasium
Linc ran away from home at a young age, and by the time he returned almost a year later, his parents had both been lost. Left without a sense of purpose and only minimal ability to care for himself, he continued to wander until he was found by Alex Relson and brought into a new family. He now tries to surround himself with friends whenever he can, eager to pack every moment with enjoyment.
"Criticism is stupid. People think they know me more than I know myself. I guess there are a few people out there that I trust enough, like Sarah, but most people out there are just dumb. I block it out."
"I just tell them. It's better when they know instead of having to guess from me being passive-aggressive or whatever. I crack a lot of jokes around them too. Funny stuff my real friends would get."
"Yeah, but who cares? If someone insults me then that's their problem, not mine."
"My katana, duh! ...Wait, that's not mundane. Uh, okay, what about my Fable of Sheek shirt? I got it for turning in the box code from every game in the series!"
"Nah, not really interested."
"Nope. Why, should I be? Life's easier when people know what you're thinking."
