Nico is intelligent with a good sense of humour. She has a lot of interests in common with Medea and the two get along very well. Nico is also good with words, and according to Medea, she "smells really good".

Because of her empathetic nature, she never hesitates to help those in need of it, treating all with warmth and respect. Even with this, she isn't without her flawed, quirky, and immature side, which is typical for my characters.

Something she shares with Medea is that Nico is unforgiving of anyone who opposes her sense of justice until they stop, even if there is a large difference in power. That shows when she attacks the demon possessing her father even though he was way stronger than an average human.

Though she is usually calm and compassionate, Nico has a hidden violent side to her when her short temper is brought into play.

She is also duty-focused, considering she choosing her duty as a princess over her love for Medea is what ended their relationship.

Nicoletta Argento da Firenze is one of Norrington's Desire's two central characters (along with Medea Norrington), as well as the protagonist of Under Pressure, the deuteragonist of Under Siege, and one of the supporting cast of Under World (along with the rest of the V7D). She goes by the nickname of Conquest.

As the leader of the V7D, Nico's mission is hunting down the dangerous denizens of the Underworld and helping Medea on her quest to reclaim her title as the Eye of Laurel. Nico's expertise lies in her mastery of firearms. Trained as a gunslinger, shooter, and sniper from the young age of fifteen, she’s lethal with a weapon in hand. But she’s not just limited to conventional weapons—Nico wields Whisper, a magical gun she can summon at will, which never runs out of ammo. More than just a regular firearm, Whisper allows her to manipulate its projectiles, giving her unparalleled control in any fight.

She is eventually revealed to be the human incarnation of Laurel Nasuka, who created her to satisfy her insatiable desire to explore the outside world.

BACKSTORY:

Nicoletta Argento was born into a wealthy and prominent family in Italy. Her father was a successful businessman who provided his family with the finest. Despite her privileged upbringing, Nicoletta was determined to forge her own path. She had a passion for gunslinging and convinced her father to let her train with the best marksmen in Italy.

Nicoletta quickly developed her skills and became known as the best shot in her family's social circles. However, her aversion to killing often put her at odds with her colleagues and their associates, who preferred more violent methods.

One day while being mugged, Nicoletta instinctively was able to summon a magical gun left to her hands. With the gun, she discovered she could redirect her bullets, making them non-lethal yet effective. Nicoletta quickly gained a reputation as a skilled gunslinger and was sought after by many people for her services. Despite her associates' disapproval, she never forgot her moral code and always made sure to use her magical gun to avoid taking lives.

One day, Nicoletta met Miyuuki Strafford at a charity event hosted by her father. She was drawn to Nicoletta's friendly and upbeat personality and begged to join her on her adventures. Nicoletta was initially hesitant, but she saw potential in Miyuuki's vampire strength and agility and agreed to take her as the first member of a project she was thinking about: Project V7D.

Fast forward to another day, Nicoletta and Miyuuki stumbled upon Quincey in an illegal fight ring in Rome. They were both impressed by his fighting skills, but Nico was appalled by his lack of mercy towards his opponents. Nicoletta offered him a chance to redeem himself by joining their team, and Quincey agreed. He saw in Nicoletta a chance to turn on a new leaf and leave his dark past behind.

• Her design was heavily based on Sango from InuYasha and Lucy/Nyu from Elfen Lied.

• She is bisexual.

• The name of her biological mother, Claudia Castagnoli, is a reference to the professional wrestler Claudio Castagnoli.

• Her last name, Argento, is a nod to the Italian film director Dario Argento.

• Her favourite musician is Katy Perry.

WHISPER:
Whisper is Nicoletta's magical gun, which she is free to call to her hand at any time. Whisper's capacity to autonomously modify the trajectory of its bullets, which are an integral element of the weapon, is both its most distinctive feature and most lethal.

As a result, the pistol appears to have endless ammo, and Nicoletta does not waste time reloading.

HEALER:
Nico is a very knowledgeable and competent healer with a plethora of first-aid expertise. Even though she is not against going to the hospital when the situation calls for it, she takes responsibility to take care of her team's injuries.
