As Luke helped me stand, I saw Kaiser holding a dagger. With my free hand I knocked it out with a blast of magic.

Nathan grabbed the dagger and flung it at Kaiser. It dug into his chest.

(Shoot)
Kaiser seemed unconcerned. The dagger fizzed and dissolved when it came in contact with his blood. He brushed the knife away and stepping closer. Luke cursed.
"This guys is no joke. Don't let him touch you."

“They don’t die,” I said as a blast of my magic hit him, “They regenerate.”

"Got it." Nathan backed away, growing a sharpened stick into his hand. He thwapped Kaiser around the head with it, with no effect. He grit his teeth together and created a layer of flame around the creature.

Kaiser sighed in irritation and vanished. When he reappeared, it was directly behind Nathan. The tips of his fingers brushed Nathan's back, and he felt his skin start to burn.
(To successfully dodge, roll a twenty XD nah jk)

“We either run, or teleport or something but we have to do it now.” I said. I spirit was getting close so I created some daggers and flung them at him, as I did so, he knocked my feet out from under me, sending pain though my bad leg.

Nathan gasped and jumped forward, flame licking at his skin. "Seriously!?" he cried at Kaiser. He launched himself at him, slamming him into the floor. They skidded forward.

Luke was at the door, helping Maddie along. "Nice work, Nate! Let's go, we gots maybe ten seconds before he gets up."

Nathan rolled away from Kaiser. "Yeah, let's go."

I walked as fast as I could with the boys, sending bursts of magic as we went, trying to prevent any spirits from getting to close.

"Run if you like, Maddie," Blake called distantly, a smile in his voice. "It'll give my employees some exercise for once."

Nathan put a reassuring hand on the small of Maddie's back. "Just keep going, Maddie. We can take them," he whispered.

“Shut it Blake!” I called back. I sent a blast towards his door, leaving a mark where it had collided. “Yeah.” I whispered back to Nathan

Then suddenly Luke fell, noiselessly hitting the ground and not getting up. The hair on the back of his head was matted with blood. The girl who'd struck him tripped Maddie and drew a silver katana, blocking their path.
"Come at me bro," she snarled at Nathan.

Nathan narrowed his eyes. He marched up to her and hit her in the stomach with the flat of his palm, sending her flying into a wall.

I crawled over to Luke, “Luke? Come on, don’t leave us now.” I rolled him onto his back.

Another shadow spirit standing nearby laughed. "Good one, kid! That was funny." He took out a knife of his own. "But I'd like to see you try that with me."

(Okie then lol)
Luke slowly lifted his head, seeming to stay conscious through sheer willpower. "Mads," he muttered. "You go on with…..Nate. I'll….be right behind ya."

(???? That was wierd)
“Oh no, that’s not gonna happen,” I formed a stretcher like thing and Luke rose into the air, “Just until you’re fit to fight again.”

Nathan approached the new adversary, fists held up. He swung his leg forward, attempting to break the man's footing.

Nathan's opponent danced back, the darted forward again and lashed out with his knife. "So I heard that one of your buddies is already dead. That's pitiful."

I whipped my head around when the sentence ended. “Nate, don’t lose focus, he’s just trying to get in your head!”

"Says who? I'm just trying to warn you guys. That demon punk was the strongest guy you had, and now he's paste. You might as well just give up."
