(I'm doing homework so responses may be a bit late) "Yeah we're going to go find Tasper. Outside. You can stay if you'd like."
"Alrighty then. What are we waiting for?" Jackie grabbed a broom from the science lab closet and spinned it around a couple times. "Let's go kick some zombie butt."
"No way am I staying out of it," Jackie defended, glaring at Trinity. "Listen, just because you are popular and a cheerleader, and rich and all that stuff doesn't mean that you know what I should do or not do. Okay?"
(Waiting for @writelikeyourerunningoutoftime because she has to be here)
(yep. and im also doing homework, so i may not respond for a couple minutes or so)
(BRB)
"Woah," she puts her hands up defensively, "not what I meant. Ok? I was just saying.. you know what forget it."
Rolling her eyes, Jackie exited the lab and stood leaning on a wall just outside the room, not wanting to be in the same room with Trinity. She acted like she always knew what was best for her, but Trinity knew nothing about Jackie. Before today, the only thing they knew about each other was their names.
Clyde caught up to the others, ’’i have an idea,’’ he began.
"What is her deal.." Trinity grumbled to herself. "Was that rude?" She asks everyone else.
(Can we do the outside zombie fight tomorrow? I'm bout to sleep but tomorrow morning I'll be back.)
(same)
(Anyone on?)
Clyde looked at the others, ’’we cant get outside the main way,’’ he exclaimed, ’’all the main ways are locked to contain the zombies in here, we have to find another way out.’’
"The easiest way to get to Nyirs son it to go to the second floor math class. Their tree house fort is right outside the window, and if we are lucky we might find a rope or ladder and then we can pull through them through." Ben said, as he looked towards the stairs.
Nyir nodded. "Right. Lets do it." She didn't really care about the particulars. She just cared about making sure her kid was safe.
Clyde followed up the cracking, crumbling staircase; careful to not fall into a hole.
Ben nodded understandingly, “Follow me.” He commanded. Racing through the halls with his spear and gas mask in hand, he opened the door the second floor “The math class is this way.” He said, drawing the attention of the other. Not walking far at all, he opened the classroom door.
The windows reflected the color of the greenish fog onto the classroom white walls, the seats were everywhere, and the teacher's desk had paper flooring. Darting to the window, Ben could just make out the outline of the tree house, “I see the house, it's not far away…” Ben looked down at the branchless tree trunk and saw zombies climbing up, but as they made it to a certain point they were knocked off by something, “The zombies are climbing up, but I think Carson is shooting them down with his BB gun….” He looked back at his team, “That a good thing, it means they are alive.” He said in baby laughed so the others would stop looking like they were all dead.
Relief coursed through Nyir's veins, but she quelled the feeling. Not until Tasper was safe in her arms and indoors would she relax. Pulling her gas mask over her mouth, she took the lead, stepping through the window and plunging into the chaos of the outdoors.
Ben slid on his gas mask and said to the others, "Ok team, lets go get though people!" then he followed Nyir lead.
Clyde put his gas mask over his mouth and opened his eyes. He hopped out the window onto a tree branch and started crawling to the tree house.
With Clyde behind him, Ben pulled himself up onto a higher branch, "Carson?!" He yelled, hoping to get a replied. He heard people shuffling around inside, but no one replied, 'they must have not heard me.' Ben though, hoping it was true.
Clyde climbed up through the gas. His hand gripped a ledge of some sort, "I got in," he shouted, his voice muffled by the mask.
Jumping a branch, Ben managed to grab on to the edge of the tree house roof.
