"No, if it doesn't work you're going to keep trying until it does." Clara said firmly.
"No, if it doesn't work you're going to keep trying until it does." Clara said firmly.
The Doctor shot a glace at Clara indicating it was the end of the discussion as they followed John to the flat. It didn’t take long and soon John was unlocking the door and walking inside.
Sherlock had been taking his anger out on not just Mr. Smiley, but every other wall in the house. Bullet holes decorated the walls, and shards of glass indicated that the windows had taken a lot of damage as well. Splintered bits of wood from very unfortunate chairs had ricocheted into the walls, the curtains had been torn down and tables had been turned over. Pictures that had previously decorated the walls were now lying on the ground, John's laptop had been smashed. Mrs. Hudson was frantic. "John, you need to see Sherlock, he's in a hell of a state! And I'm not your housekeeper!" she said, running out the door to who knows where. Clara gaped, this was the most chaotic mess she had ever seen.
“Sherlock Holmes what the hell did you do?!” John called to Sherlock as he stood in the middle of the main room in the mess that is friend had made. He sighed and rubbed his temples with a hand and turned on the spot, assessing the damage.
"Oh-kayyy, maybe we should come back later?" Clara said slowly.
“Probably for the best. John, give us a shout when you’ve dealt with Sherlock and this situation.” The Doctor said, earning a nod from John. The Doctor started to make his way to the door with Clara.
Sherlock stormed out of his room, eyes bloodshot. "What are you three doing here?" he snapped.
(You online?)
(Hello?)
(Sorry)
“We’ve come to talk to you, Sherlock.” The Doctor said, calmly.
"Oh, talk to me? TALK TO ME???!!! You had millions of chances to talk with that bloody time machine that you never took. Don't tell me that you're going to talk to me now!" he shouted.
“Sherlock, you need to listen to him.” John said, walking up to Sherlock, “Please just listen.”
"Don't tell me to listen." Sherlock growled.
“Sherlock Holmes, you are going to listen to what The Doctor has to say. If you don’t agree with it after he hasn’t finished, fine but not before.”
"Do shut up, John." Sherlock glared.
“Don’t tell him to shut up!” The Doctor said, slightly angry, “Sherlock, you are going to listen to what I have to say, please.”
"I don't need to listen to the man I trusted the most, the man who I trusted more than anyone or anything. You betrayed me." he spat.
“You thirsted me more then John? I don’t believe that, Sherlock.” He said, shaking his head a little, “When you were travelling with me did you think about John? How you just up and left without him?”
"I didn't fully trust John then, but I bloody well trusted him more than I trust you now."
“Do you want to know why I dropped you back on Earth? It’s because space changes people. And for someone with a mind like yours? This is what happens.” He gestured to the room around them, “When you’re forced to turn back to the real world where things aren’t all spacey- wacey you can’t handle it.”
"This is hardly the real world, out there is. But not here."
“No, Sherlock. This is your real world. With John and Mrs Hudson. Not out in space, it wasn’t what you were born to do.”
"I understood more than any of your companions combined. I could fly the damn TARDIS, I knew alien languages like the back of my own hand, and I most certainly did not get infatuated with you like Rose did, like just about every girl you traveled with did. Don't preach to me about what my real world is or isn't."
“Don’t bring Rose into this Sherlock. This is what I mean when you can’t handle being put back in earth. Your so used to getting what you want that when you don’t, you don’t know what to do. You’ve wrecked this apartment, what happens when you hurt John my accident? What then?”
"You don't want me to talk about Rose because you feel to guilty. You should."
