"You'd be surprised." Clara said.
"You'd be surprised." Clara said.
“Why don’t you talk to him? Or John if you could do better.”
"Doctor…." Clara began, using her 'Disapproving Teacher' tone.
“Why not? Clearly Sherlock isn’t listening to me!”
"Doctor. You're an idiot, you know that?"
(You online?)
(Sorry, had crap classes yesterday and couldn’t get on much)
“Why? Explain to me why I’m an idiot, Clara.”
"Because you don't give people second chances. You just assume people don't ever change, when you of all people should realize that."
“Sherlock won’t change, you saw how he reacted. He’s so stuck in his own head he doesn’t think about other people when he doesn’t get his own way.”
"Seriously? I changed when I met you. A lot. I would have never dreamed of seeing the stars, I wasn't even going to live my dream of travelling for a while. But now I've been everywhere, seen amazing things, gone where no human has ever gone or will ever go again for centuries. People do change, for better and for worse. But normally for better, with you." Clara said.
The Doctor sighed and lent up against the console, “Clara, Sherlock has never been the same after I dropped him back, with you, it’s different, your mind is different to his. It’s not the same,”
"It's very much the same." Clara said. "God, you're thick sometimes."
“Thick!” The doctor mumbled some stuff under his breath
"Yes, thick."
“Whatever…” The Doctor murmured, fiddling with the console
"Hey, I just think you should give him another chance. No need to get all defensive!"
“And what if he gets worse? If I drop him back again he does the same thing? What then?”
"You've got to try."
“Try? I already tried.”
"Try again, then. People really do change, Doctor."
He shook his head a little, “Clara, I’m not sure I should.”
"Well, you don't get to say no to this one, Doctor." Clara said firmly.
“I can say no if I want.” He replied, turning around
"You can say it, sure. But you don't really have a say in this if you know what I mean."
“I do have a say, and my say is no.”
