"Hey Nirvana! Umm could I stay back here for a bit? I have some…unpleasant people looking for me." Nykidia explained. Meanwhile, upfront the Altir boys walked in, looking for a annoying red head.

Nysaxiope was bringing some dirty dishes into the kitchen when she saw a newsboy cap attached to a child's body. "Nykidia, what are you doing lurking around my kitchen?"
Nykidia turned to see Nysaxiope. "Uhh…hey Nysaxiope. I kinda have some people chasing me. Could I hide back here for a bit?"
Nys sighed but nodded. "Keep an eye on her, Nirvana."
The man chewed the salmon slowly, light grey eyes wandering back to the window. He was enjoying the food, as it was one of the best meals he had in quite awhile. Running his own port back home, he didn't often find time to sit back and relax. Daxton was usually either doing paperwork, which he often found quite boring, or doing what he was raised to do, slay aragami that got too close to home.
Well, right then he wasn't on vacation. He had his own goal that brought him to this city. A mission he took upon himself, as well as Ra urging him to listen. Daxton was really hoping this little venture wouldn't take too long. He knew the other God Eaters, close friends even, were more than capable of taking care of the port, but that didn't keep him from worrying.
Daxton had only taken his eyes off his plate for maybe 20 seconds, followed by least 4 bites, when he was moving his fork down to only hit hard bottom. He glanced down, to see the fiery ball had moved over, also consuming the food on his plate.
Oh c'mon Ra," he groaned.
The young man's head slid down to rest on the table. He stared at the flames in defeat. As for the fireball, it simply moved, hovering in place in front of Daxton.
"I was just starting to enjoy that…damn't…"
Nirvana blinked a bit. She opened her mouth, getting ready to respond to the girl, when Nysaxiope appeared. Naturally, the short woman grew quiet, the 'antennas' laying flat backwards, elegantly resting against her head. She returned to moving through the kitchen, checking pots, ovens, and so forth.
The female lifted her head as the owner addressed her. Nirvana gave a polite, short bow to the siren, "Of course Miss. I will try to keep an eye on her while I continue my work."
After some confusion getting food before ordering the two where eating fish sticks in between chatter. Oridone glanced at the door every time someone came or left, Ben glancing back when her ears turned away from his talking. Two paper boys had entered, which was odd because it didn't seem like they were delivering any papers. Plus Ben knew the boys' route was on the other end of Altir. With the mechanic's expression confirming it was out of the ordinary the nekomata was suspicious, going back to chatting but glancing every once in a while to see if the two were causing trouble while poking around. She had her fair share of kids looking to cause chaos with snapper firecrackers or other things while at her job, she was hoping the two weren't here to ruin lunch for everybody.
The Altir boys looked around for a bit. They eventually walked up to the table that Ben sat at. "Have any of you seen a guy with red hair and a newspaper bag?" They asked Ben.
(Nykidia keeps her hair in her hat so that it looks like she has short hair. So to the Altir boys she's a guy.)
(Aster isn't here anymore. I switched him out with Oridone a few posts ago so I could practice female characters.)
Ben blinked as he seemed to process the two were talking to him. He clicked the button to lower the table so he could talk to them easier. "Uh, no, you're the first newsboys to come in here." He replied, failing to think of any time a red head came in. He looked to Oridone knowing she was the one looking to see who was coming and going. "What do you guys want with some newsboy anyway? Shouldn't you be doing your job instead of looking around here?" She questioned. Her tail flicked as she looked to the boys. She hadn't seen any red head either, but until said otherwise she was going to assume they were up to no good looking for another paperboy.
Let the newsboys start a fight, I wanna fight.
Blaze heard the mention of a redhead and his head shot up, he wasn't considered a redhead, but his hair did have a large amount of red in it. I swear to Emeltie, if these people are trying to catch me to be all heroic I'm going to scream.
"He was selling on our turf!" One of them growled at Oridone. "Are you sure you haven't seen one? He usually delivers here." The second asked. "He's a little shorter than me, red hair, brown pants and a newspaper hat. Does that jog your memory?" The first asked again.
"Then why did you leave your 'turf', have you considered the newsboy circled around now that you're not there?" Oridone said bluntly, giving a stern expression in response to the growl. She felt like she saw someone that fit that description, but she couldn't remember if it was here or when she was walking in the streets. Either way they could waste their own time if they wanted to cause trouble over selling papers, there was plenty of places in a big city to keep from arguing. Ben looked between Oridone and the boys. "Maybe check the other shops? He might have already left before we came." He offered, not really sure what else to do for the two.
The boys growled. "I swore I saw him come in here." One of them growled. They began to look around the restaurant for 'him'. Nykidia peeked her head out of the kitchen to see the guys searching the restaurant. "Shit!" She whispered yelled as she ducked her head back into the kitchen.
Nysaxiope approached two newsboys searching the restaurant. "What are you two doing in here? Unless you're hear to eat or are trying to apply for a job, get out."
"Have you seen a red headed guy with a newspaper bag around here?" The so called 'leader' of the three asked. "We know he delivers to you!"
(Nysaxiope may or may not know that they refer to Nykidia as a guy. It's up to you.)
Blaze stood up, yawning as he walked over to the boys. "Look, some of us are trying to eat a meal in peace, so, please… Leave if you're not going to either pick a fight or listen to this lass." He said, running his fingers through his head. "You're making a scene."
"I must ask you to leave now," Nysaxiope said, sternly. She knew she probably would just look like an employee so they wouldn't respect her as much as the owner.
"I don't care if we make a scene. He was on out turf and we intend to make him pay for it!" He said to Blaze. "And I don't care what you say." He said pointing at Nysaxiope.
"You work here right? Can I punch him? I'm not really sure of cultures here, but I don't really care." Blaze asks, bluntly to say the least.
"Do we need to get authorities?" Nysaxiope asked. I really don't want to deal with this shit. Why does Nykidia do this to me? She looked at the person beside her. "No, you don't need to."
Euric looked up at the commotion. What is going on…?
"Oh, a shame. Boys, shall we take this outside?" Blaze asked, his question being more like a statement. "I know a wonderful little fighting ring down on the tenth street." He said.
"Why don't you guys go back to paper selling? I really don't think you're trying to cause yourself trouble…" Ben commented. Oridone's ears were back, her tail flicking in annoyance. Though she stood up at the older male threatening the paperboys with a fight. "There's no need to try taking a swing at kids over interrupting your lunch." She hissed, and before the boys even had a chance to get smug grins she turned on them, "Now you guys. Run off if you don't want me standing by while the others chase you out of here."
The boys looked at everyone who was gangin up on them. "Fine!" The leader said as he walked out with the other two following him. Nykidia poked her head out again to see the boys leaveing. Once she was sure they were gone, she ran up to Nysaxiope. "Damn it! I'm sorry, Nysaxiope! I didn't mean to cause this much trouble." Nykidia apologized.
"Wasn't interrupting my lunch, I just wanted to fight," Blaze admitted with a shrug, walking over to his table and setting the proper amount of money on it, plus a bit extra. He left the restaurant, humming a merry tune that was deffinitley not the knife game.
Nysaxiope returned to her work, giving Nykidia a quick, "it's fine, just please don't do it again"
Euric raised his eyebrows but returned to his meal.
"So what do you do?" Reji asked him.
He thought for a moment. "I'm a guard of sorts."
