UM I'M BEING PUT ON THE SPOT probably the walk-in freezer??))
(OMG No! Out in the diner. OMG I can't breath!
WALK IN FREEZERS AREN'T THAT BAD! YOU COULD PROBABLY STAY IN THERE FOR AN HOUR! Anyway, ummmmm I guess there'd be some decorative partition of sorts near the bathrooms, so they seem like they're in a separate room from the dining space. So behind that???))
(Alright. I might do that.)
Nykidia watched a couple walk in and ask for a table for two. They must be on a date. "Well duh." Nykidia whispered. They look cute together. "Well your not wrong about that." She chuckled. She then heard them introduce themselves to each other. This confused both Nykidia and Night. Maybe their on there first date? "Maybe." Nykidia mused. You might want to talk a little quieter. We are out in public after all. "Sorry." She whispered softly.
How do I come up with character names on the spot you ask? Why a quick key smash of course (this is how I named both Reji and Euric actually)))
(Since we're still in the meet-up stages I'm going to switch Aster with Oridone, my character form post on page 3 is updated to have her form.)
At first Ben ignored the sound of tapping, only to turn around as Aster got up. A familiar guard was tapping on the window, stopping as Aster came outside to talk. Flicking her tail nervously Oridone was telling Aster something Ben couldn't make out, leaving him to watch as his boss walked off after they traded something. Turning back to his menu so he wasn't called out for eavesdropping on a conversation he couldn't even hear he waited until Oridone came in and sat down before he looked up. "Sorry if I interrupted anything… He has to handle a situation right now, but it'd be a bit rude to just leave you alone." She explained with an apologetic smile, waiting a moment before adding a joking comment, "Though if you got worried seeing him walk off don't worry, lunch is still on him." Safely assuming Oridone had noticed him watching and trying to figure out their conversation Ben dropped his gaze back to the menu in slight embarrassment, earning a small laugh from the security guard as her forked tail switched to a relaxed sway. At least the chatter in the background didn't leave an awkward silence like with Aster, the two looking over the choices before Ben eventually started a conversation with the tired security guard.
(If you want. We still need to get the characters to interact and I'm trying to confirm whether Emi dropped this or not.)
(No I didn’t drop out
I’m just very confused ;u;
I don’t think I know enough about the setting n stuff, so I’m trying to read up on your OGG chat. I’d tell you if I dropped.)
(Oh, alright! If you need to know anything feel free to ask in the OCC Chat! If you're having trouble with the current setting is a place in Altir City called Nys Fish, a restaurant with tall ceilings, tables with buttons to lower and heighten them, and a hatch in the roof leading to the owner's (Nysaxiope's) living space. Like I said, if you're confused just ask and we'd be happy to answer!)
(Oh, thanks! But I was wondering about the town and buildings around it? So I could describe the area to myself (mostly) and have them come in.)
Eventually, Daxton had been seated. The small ball of flames that had been resting on his shoulder seemingly disappeared, reappearing on the table before him. He had been seated at a table by a window, which was something he was happy about. The fiery ball seemingly floated close to the window, as if it was looking outside itself. Daxton lightly tapped a finger on his table, waiting patiently for a waiter or waitress. Hell that he know how this place works…
The fireball flickered, catching his attention. Daxton turned his gaze towards it, "Hm? You know we gotta find her…Yea, that's why I got you to help."
A small smile appeared on his face. He leaned forward against the table. The male moved his hand, using a finger to lightly poke the flames. As the fire was disturbed, it seemed to disappear, but then reform again.
Nirvana lifted her head, the 'antennas' perking upwards a bit. Several more orders came in, not giving her a chance to think about how her friend was doing. The short female flicked her head a bit, a bit of hair that had fallen into her eyes moved backwards. She returned to humming softly under her breath while working, and cooking the food requested.
Blaze ordered his food, his permanent smirk showing off his shark-like teeth as he waited. He was hesitant to try sea food, why would one want to just see food? But, his friends said it was good and who was he to argue with them, they've eaten in more places than he had. Hah, eaten, but not been in more places.
Apollo shyly poked his head from a couple of weird looking monsters, his pale, round face shining with nervous sweat as he scooted in and around people to get to the resturant. He and his brother had selected the particular resturant because it was busy and had good food. Well, according to Oliver. Apollo had never stepped foot here, in fact, he hasn't seen his brother in years. He walked shakily into thr restaurant, looking around at all of the people.
This place is packed…
Oliver confidently pushed past a few slow-walking monsters, stepped over a little boi smaller than him, and shimmied past a barely visible man, who called after him as he jogged away for the familiar resturant. He had decided on this restaurant, mainly because he knew quite a few people there. But Oliver was running late. And Apollo didn't know anyone. He could get killed!
Nysaxiope drifted through the restaurant, introducing herself as the waiter, and plucking orders from the customers' minds and relaying them back to the cooks, then bringing the plates of food out to the tables. Wow, it's packed today. I guess it's something I'll have to get used to as Nys Fish gets more popular. She smiled at the thought.
Euric had been seated and the waitress had come by, mentioning something about the buttons on the table. He quirked his eyebrow in curiosity, before pushing the blue one. Suddenly, the table took on air. He wobbled, almost falling over, before realizing the table was two inches off the ground. The bat grinned, reaching for the button again, ignoring his date's protests.
After an argument between Euric and Reji for what felt like forever, they had settled for two feet in the air. Just as they finally agreed, the waitress from earlier floated up to them with two steaming plates of food, placing one with a drink in front of each person. In front of Euric, a simple filet of salmon with multiple vegetable and fruit sides, exactly what he had wanted. He looked up at the waiter with wide eyes as Reji was sputtering "How did you–" The siren simply smiled and gave a quick "enjoy your meal" before rushing off to deliver more food.
"Is this what you meant by 'this place is good'?" Euric asked.
"My sister never told me about the mind-reading thing," Reji pouted.
Once everyone is in the restaurant, someone should probably start a fight or something or else Nys won't pay attention to your characters))
Blaze wouldn't start a fight, but he sure as hell would finish it.//
(Oof, of course a fight is needed when I'm using my passive characters. They'd just break up a fight.)
Not paying attention Ben traced along the edges of the buttons while Oridone looked at the menu remembering she should order something. Tapping his fingers he accidentally pressed a button, nearly falling at the table floating up some. Oridone reached out and grabbed the mechanic's arm to steady him, having no trouble balancing herself with her tail. "Careful." She laughed, pulling away as she set the menu down, "Why don't we order? I think I'll just have whatever you have." Ben nodded before looking back to the buttons, planning on just getting fish sticks, the security guard showing amusement as he kept pressing them to try and figure out how it worked. The mechanic was usually focused on work or the group's current adventure, but he became a bit of a kid at the curiosity he had with gadgets he didn't understand.
((OOC: Mean, could have something happen to Nirvana since I like getting my charries in trouble ._.))
Blaze would probably jump right into the fight, not to protect anyone, just because he's a reckless asshole.//
(Any of you can do something to get Nysaxiope's attention… or just wait until she gets annoyed with Ben repeatedly lowering and raising the table. Also is Nykidia just hiding right now?)
Y'all can just assume Nys delivered your charrie's food since I think it would be boring for me and for everyone else to write a paragraph of her just being a waitress. Also, Euric will fight anyone who insults what he does, even if they don't know what his job is, so if anyone insults him like "I bet you just get everything free by flirting, and whatever your job is you just laze around at" he will attempt murder so))
(Alright, good to know. Also, anyone can insult Ben's family even if you don't know what his family is like and he'll start an argument. Anyone can post next to cause some sort of chaos, it doesn't really matter what, but I'd prefer not to since I already did the most recent non-OOC post.)
Nykidia bounced impatiently. She didn't know why she was but she felt something was going to happen. She glanced out on of the windows and saw the Altir boys looking for something. Shit! This was not good. Nykidia, without thinking, ran farther into the restaurant. She bolted into a room (the kitchen) and closed the door.
Daxton turned his head as an order of food was set at the table. The male raised an eyebrow, not remembering at all about having a waiter or waitress appear and ask for the order, blahblahblah, so forth. Well, the fiery ball floating on the table didn't seem to mind at all.
The flames moved over one of the plates instantly starting to lower itself down. Instead of burning the food to ashes, the meal seemed to actually disappear, actually being consumed by the flames. The young man watched the fire for a bit, then started on his own plate.
Nirvana had turned her back for just a moment, when the sound of the door being slammed brought her attention. The short woman quickly pivoted, the 'antennas' on her head now flaring upwards, as if getting ready to unfold, but seeing the familiar form of Nykidia made her appendages lower again.
Now, Nirvana only knew from stories told by the owner of the restaurant about this individual, as well as the occasional visits. Though said visits weren't usually brought to the back where she herself worked.
"Um…Nykidia isn't it? What brings you back here?"
