Hatta took a deep breath as the center moved, their surroundings blurring and changing.
Hatta took a deep breath as the center moved, their surroundings blurring and changing.
Aliana looked around her eyes working a mile a minute trying to process everything, but remained calm knowing this was all okay.
Hatta was silent as they reappeared on the road they had originally been on, before the labyrinth.
Aliana felt a chill as they appeared on the road. She remembered how cold it had been before they had entered the labyrinth, and it seemed to still be there.
Hatta took a deep breath. "Well then. Let's go. I don't know how long it is until dark, but hopefully there will be an inn of some sort."
Aliana perked up at the mention of an inn as she began to walk away trying to get out of the cold, "Hopefully. It doesn't seem that far away from the night."
Hatta nodded, and started walking beside her. "Yes. Hopefully." he replied softly.
"Mhm," Aliana hummed slightly attempting to distract herself. At least she knew this time it would be growing warmer than growing colder.
Hatta walked quietly, checking the roadside as they walked to see if there were any signs.
Aliana let out a sigh of relief as the cold went away and she scanned the roadside for signs. She pointed as she spotted one, "Look there's a town coming up."
Hatta looked, and squinted to read the sign. "Hm." he studied it. "Alright. If we walk fast, we should arrive in town before dark." he smiled.
Aliana gave him a smile back, "Great! And then we could maybe stay in an inn?"
He nodded. "Yeah." he replied with a quick smile.
Aliana's smile grew and she looked back to the path and ran ahead a little, "Then let's go!"
Hatta laughed, and ran after her. "Alright!"
Aliana laughed with him and kept running hoping to stay in the lead.
Hatta kept running, one hand holding his hat to his head.
Aliana spotted Hatta catching up and tried to run faster.
Hatta ran faster as well.
Aliana laughed as she started to run out of steam as Hatta passed her. This was the second time today she had to run, but at least she wasn't in mortal danger this time.
Hatta kept running, glancing back at her with a cheeky smile.
Aliana scowled at him, but couldn't keep the face for long. She ran after him knowing she probably wouldn't be able to catch him.
Hatta slowed a little bit, letting her catch up.
Aliana looked to Hatta as she caught up, "You, you didn't have toβ¦"
Hatta shrugged. "No, I don't, but I did anyways."
