He stepped cautiously back, wary.

Aliana sang soothingly. She wasn't trying to scare him, "Even if we're breaking down, we can find a way to break through. Even if we can't find heaven, I'll walk through he'll with you. Love, you're not alone, 'cause I'm gonna stand by you."

Hatta watched her, eyes flicking over her face.

"Even if we can't find heaven, I'm gonna stand by you," Aliana sang taking a small step towards him. The song which was normally was happy and upbeat, she had turned into a slow comforting song, "Even if we can't find heaven, I'll walk through hell with you. Love, you're not alone, 'cause I'm gonna stand by you."

Hatta swallowed, watching her still.

Aliana moved just an inch closer to him, "Yeah, you're all I never knew I needed. And the heart, sometimes it's unclear why it's beating."

He watched her carefully.

"And love, if your wings are broken," Aliana moved just another inch closer. She offered her hands to Hatta making it clear it was optional, "We can brave through those emotions too. 'Cause I'm gonna stand by you."

Hatta didn't take her hands, just watched her still.

Aliana took another step closer still holding out her hands, "Oh, truth, I guess truth is what you beleive in. And faith, I think faith is helpting to reason."

He swallowed, watching her.

Aliana was getting close, she could almost hug him with little difficulty. She continued to song and keep her slight distance, "No, no, no, love, if your wings are broken. Borrow mine so yours can open too. 'Cause I'm gonna stand by you."

Hatta stared at her. His eyes were a little less fractured and broken.

He kept watching her.

He sighed softly.

Aliana was glad he hadn't flinched when she had taken his hands. She held him lightly and continued singing, "I'll be your eyes, when yours can't shine. I'll be your arms, I'll be your steady satellite."

He watched her carefully.

Hatta watched her with a faint smile.

Hatta looked at her, eyes clearing a little more.
