His hands twitched, and he shrugged his shoulders slightly.
His hands twitched, and he shrugged his shoulders slightly.
Aliana couldn't help herself anymore. She reached out to just lightly touch Hatta, "You can talk to me. Right?"
He jerked away, shaking a little. "Please don't."
Aliana stepped back from Hatta. She was holding her wrist close to her chest, "O-Okay."
Hatta was breathing hard, shaking his head a little bit.
Aliana bit her lip and waited fearfully. She could see that anything she did only worsened his condition.
Hatta took a deep, slightly shaky breath, trying to calm down. "Stop it stop it stop it stop it." he was murmuring it under his breath, over and over and over. His violet eyes were unfocused and distant, the madness swirling to life in them.
Aliana wanted to cry out and hug him. But he had to deal with it himself. Still she couldn't stop herself from moving just that bit closer.
Hatta closed his eyes, squeezing them shut and trembling as he tried so hard to stay in control, tried So hard not to let the madness take over.
"I'm, I'm here for you," Aliana told Hatta inching ever closer. She couldn't muster any confidence, why had she made that stupid deal earlier.
He was trembling still, shaking his head at her but unable to get the words out.
Aliana bit her lip trying to convince herself that not helping him, was helping him. She couldn't convince herself.
He took a deep breath, body shuddering.
Aliana could taste blood that trickled in from her lips. She stepped closer to him hoping it was over.
He opened his eyes, and there was nothing. Just that mad, cracked, damaged mind, without anything else behind it.
Aliana knew something was off the moment she looked into his eyes. They were almost void. Feqr flooded her body and she fell back a step her body stqrting to shake and tremble. Her voice quivered as she called out, "H-Hatta?"
He stared at her for a moment, not seeming to recognize her.
Aliana froze in fear. She tried to get her voice to wrok, but god he didn't recognize her. She was no one to him.
His eyes flickered, and he looked away, eyes wandering around.
Aliana watched Hatta carefully. She was mustering her courage so that she might be able to do something. Anything.
Hatta stumbled a little as he walked to a tree, gazing at it with round eyes.
Aliana finally mustered up enough courage to take a step towards him. Still shaking, she asked him softly her voice quivering, "Hatta? Are, are you there?"
(gtg soon)
His eyes flicked to her, that cracked madness still there.
Aliana shrank down but didn't back up. Her voice was still quiet, "I'll, I'll take that as a no."
(K. Night!)
He drifted over to the treeline, humming.
