"Promise?" Aliana responded looking up at him.

Hatta nodded. "I promise."

Ariana let out a breath, "Okay." She began to kick once more at the same rate as earlier.

Hatta stayed near her, making sure she wouldn't hit the edge.

Aliana looked at Hatta, "Am I doing good?"

Hatta nodded. "Yeah, you're doing great."

Aliana grinned at Hatta and kept kicking, "This is all I have to do?"

Hatta nodded. "Yup." He replied. "For now."

"There's more?" Aliana asked him as she continued to kick straight towards the wall of the pool.

Hatta nodded. "Yeah. Like using your arms, and swimming on your front."

"That sounds, difficult," Aliana muttered to herself look at the side of the pool.

Hatta shrugged. "Nah. Not really. You just have to know how to breathe."

"And how would I know how to do that?" Aliana asked him her head starting to get dangerously close to the edge, "By almost drowning the first couple of times?"

Hatta nodded, and gently steered her away from he edge. "Yeah, basically."

Aliana looked up at Hatta as she was lead away from her current path, "You are cruel."

Hatta grinned. "Thanks." He replied, laughing a little bit.

Aliana grinned at him and then looked in shock, "You enjoy being cruel?"

Hatta grinned again. "It's necessary." He replied.

"It's never necessary," Aliana looked up at him.

"It is this time. Otherwise, you'll never learn to swim." Hatta replied.

Aliana sighed and muttered to herself, "Why did I agree to this?"

Hatta chuckled softly.

Aliana rolled her eyes and smiled at him.

Hatta grinned at her.

Aliana let out a deep breath, "What nexf?"
