"What brings you?" it asked.
"What brings you?" it asked.
"W-we were trying to help with the dark thing, b-but we seem to be currently unsuccessful."
The sheep let out a fearful baa. "The black thing has a name! It's an enlarged Umbra… Never go near it!" It warned.
"Yeah, we figured that out pretty quickly…"
The sheep narrowed its eyes. "It likes fearful ones. Like you. Watch your back." The sheep warned, then it bounced off. Hazel pulled Robin close to her, squeezing its hand. "It's just a sheep." she whispered.
Robin whimpered a bit. "T-the thing's gonna target me! I'm fearful! W-what are we gonna do?!" He started to panic again. (I gtg to bed now, see you later ^^)
( k bye! )
Hazel leaned down, so that she was face-to-face with Robin. "This thing will not get you, I won't let it." And with that, she linked his arm through her's, and yanked the ring off. She gasped for air, realizing she was back in her study, with Robin.
Robin opened his eyes to Hazel's study, his heart still pounding. He was in a state of disbelief, not even entirely sure whether he was here or not.
Hazel jumped to her feet. "We're back!" she exclaimed.
"We are? A-are you sure? It's not an illusion put on by that horrible place?"
"No I took the ring off!"
"Good. Now burn it." Robin pulled himself to his feet, wobbling a bit. He leaned against Hazel's desk for support.
Hazel backed up. "Whoa Robin. Slow your roll. I will not burn this ring." she said, holding it to herself.
"Seriously, I never want to see that place again. I was so close to having a panic attack several times while we were there. I'm not even entirely sure it's a real place."
Hazel narrowed her eyes. "Robin, calm down." she warned. "I won't destroy it."
"Why not?" Robin's heart was still pounding from being in the ring's dimension. It really stressed him out.
"Because I was fine and I will go back, with or without you." she said bitterly, and she walked out of the room.
"H-hey! You were terrified of that… that thing too! Don't leave me Hazel!" He followed her out.
"I'm not leaving you. Your safe here with Aunt Emily. And of course I was terrified but thats a whole other world that could need my help." she said, not looking back at him.
Robin looked away, feeling guilty. "W-well, then if you're going, I'll go with you."
Hazel snorted. "No. The sheep said it'd be after you, and I promised I wouldn't let it get to you. If I go, I go alone."
"B-but I couldn't let you go alone! It's too dangerous!" (It's dangerous to go alone– Take this!)
( Oh don't worry I know! )
Hazel spun around to face him. "You won't last Robin." she spat. "Your to afraid. You always have been." She growled. Then, her eyes softened. "And your young. You'll get over your fear one day. But until you do, I don't want you coming back with me.
Robin's eyes welled up with tears, and he tried to blink them away. He wasn't entirely sure how to respond.
"Robin I know your trying to help, and honestly you could help. A lot. But if you get hurt, I'M the one to blame." Hazel said, looking away. "And they would be right, I would be the one to blame. Because I'd be responsible, and I cannot stand to see you get hurt."
