"I am glad to meet you Char-Lee." Harper said. It had been a while since she had talked to anyone.
"I am glad to meet you Char-Lee." Harper said. It had been a while since she had talked to anyone.
"Hi? I have breakfast?" Benji scratched the back of his head, just as confused as the boy in front of him.
(ahhh im here now sorry)

"Nice to meet you too." Charlie replied, holding her hand out for Harper to shake it.
August still had no clue what the man was saying. “I’m deaf, can’t hear,” he managed to say, motioning to his ears with his hands as he did so, grimacing. It was always uncomfortable when someone tried to talk to him without knowing.
(Who's August talking to?)
"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry. I didn't know. You would think they'd tell me about this, right? They just said, here's the breakfast tray, his name is August, go give him some food, but I like, barely know anything about you, so like, I don't even know and now they've put me in an entirely awkward situation and oh god why am I still talking you don't know what I'm saying." Benji extended a hand, blushing. His hands were clumsy as he tried to sign, 'I have breakfast.'
(so should i just wake up now?)
(Benji, @NERDs character. And yes, just jump in)
August watched his signing. They were a bit clumsy, and not all the movements were exactly correct, but it was still understandable. “Where am I?” He asked, speaking for the man’s sake.
His neighbor had been deaf, but the last time he'd used sign language was years ago. Benji bit his lip, trying to remember the some signs. He lit up, remembering some and started to sign, praying it was right. 'I don't know what this place is either. I just have food.'
Nia woke up in a cold sweat, curled up in a ball. Where am I?
She opened her eyes and tried to make sense of her surroundings. Her body was cold and heavy, and she felt a sudden felt a shooting pain in her right forearm. Squinting her eyes, she managed to see something that looked like an iv. Nia winced as she tried to sit up and reached to pull it out. This isn't right.
August frowned slightly. ‘Well how do you not know? You work here?’ He switched to sign, hands moving in quick, fluid motions.
'I'm new.' Benji shrugged. 'I don't even remember applying for the job.'
‘What? What is this place?’ August signed quickly, brow furrowed in confusion.
Benji considered this for a moment, tapping the ground with his baseball bat. 'A hospital?'
(welp im alone)
‘But I’m not hurt. I shouldn’t be here’ August sighted in smooth motions.
'Well, you must be hurt. Want me to ask with the heads?' Benji brushed back a lock of his hair.
August nodded quickly. ‘That would be greatly appreciated.’
(gn yall)
Benji swung his baseball bat over his shoulder. 'I'll set down the breakfast. Mind if I eat with you? I'm starving. I'm a pretty crappy nurse.'
(I'm so sorry. I just got back from prom and I'm about to go to sleep.)
Jessie shot up from the bed he was in. "Where? Where am I?" He looked around the room he was in and himself, before seeing an IV in his arm, which he promptly yanked out.
August gave a slightly cautious expression before nodding slowly. He didn’t exactly trust if he should it the food. It could be drugged for all he knew.
Benji took a large bite of one of the rolls. 'Gee, I hope they're not drugged.'
Luke sobs softly, scared, hurt, and unsure. His fists were bloody from punching the walls, banding on them as he screamed to be let out. Blood drips from his almost feminine hands to the floor. His eyes are screwed shut. He just wanted to go home. He didn't like this. His family… his big brothers… He stares at the infinity sign on his wrist after a moment. It matched his brothers, Ethan. He curls into a ball, crying softly.
