So will we begin?
So will we begin?
(I can write up a starter, yes.)
Blinding lights were shining in August’s face when his eyes flickered open. His memory felt foggy as he began to come back to consciousness. He didn’t remember ever going to sleep. He didn’t even remember if he got home from a breakfast with an old friend of his. He shifted slowly as his fingers felt what was underneath him. Bedsheets? He felt drugged almost as he sat up, a ringing in his ears that he felt was quite annoying. He rubbed at his eyes, grimacing in confusion as he looked around the room. Was this a hospital room? Everything was white, and there was an IV stuck into his upper forearm. What had happened to him? He looked down, finding that he was in a hospital gown as he swung his legs out of the bed.
Charlie grimaced as she woke up groggily, a throbbing pain in her head. She refused to open her eyes, thinking that she had to go to school, but after a few seconds she forced herself to look around. As she opened her eyes, she squinted at the bright light in the room, pushing herself into a sitting position. Charlie studied the room around her. White walls. No windows. Yellow lights. And white sheets. She hated this place already. There was no color at all. An annoying buzzing noise came from the lights as if they would give out any second now.
Harper saw a male get out of his bed. (Yeah I said she doesn't understand humans roll with it) "I advise against that." she said, her voice echoed like it hadn't been used for a long time. Which it hadn't.
"Heyo!" Benji knocked on the door. "It's me! I have breakfast, August."
Luke groans softly. What… happened? His eyes flutter open, and he slowly sits up, hissing at the pain in his head. Where the hello kitty… where is he exactly? He shakes his head, groaning as he holds it. "What the…?" he mutters. Where where his brothers? They were usually up by now, bugging him to get out of bed, but it was quiet. He slowly opens his eyes fully.
"You are in the asylum. Nobody leaves the asylum. The outside is unsafe. Nobody can leave the asylum." Harper said ominously.
Charlie pushed herself off of the edge of her bed, but immediately slammed onto the ground. She reached down and felt the stump of her leg. It wasn't there. Where was her prosthetic? Charlie looked around for it and finally saw it on the other side of the room. She started to drag herself across the floor, trying to reach her prosthetic.
(They're alone in the rooms right?)
"Anyone hungry?" Benji tried again. Why was he offering food to these people again? Right, they were his patients. But when had he signed up for this job? He'd always wanted to open a cafe, not become a nurse.
Luke jumps, hissing again as his head reels with pain. Wait… asylum?! No! He feels the pain in his body leave him as he starts to panic. His brothers! His parents! He stares at the woman. "WHERE THE HELL AM I?!" He roars, growling at the female. "WHY DID YOU TAKE ME?! WHERE IS MY FAMILY?!" he cries.
(They are in sepeerate rooms)
August grimaced. He could feel vibrations, but he couldn’t hear, of course. He reached up to feel for his hearing aid, but his eyes widened when he couldn’t feel it. He grew panicked, standing up now, and almost falling to the ground. He felt weak and nauseous. What was going on?
Charlie finally managed to get to her prosthetic and slipped it on, adjusting it and making sure everything worked. She stayed on the ground, too weak to sit up and looked down at the hospital nightgown she was in. She hated it. It reminded her of all her stays at hospitals when she had been first diagnosed with osteosarcoma cancer.
"August? Are you hungry?" Benji was wondering why he was even knocking on the doors. He could always just open them with his key.
Luke was panicking now. His family… his brothers… where was he? Why… He curls into a ball in a corner his head in his hands. He was so scared. His breathing was quick and fast, his eyes wide with tears of terror. He rocked back and forth, sobbing softly. What… what happened?
(I want Harper to just like randomly walk in on someone but…. I ask consent for things like that)
Charlie tried to push herself up, but ended up stumbling back down, her prosthetic slamming onto the ground. Great, you must have woken up the whole building. The building? Was it a building? A house? A hospital. . . where was she?
(I want Harper to just like randomly walk in on someone but…. I ask consent for things like that)
(She could find Charlie if you want to)

(Kk thx!)
Harper heard that new people were coming to stay. She opened a door and walked in on a female aroung her general age.
(Lmao Benji is pretty confused, and August can’t hear him rip)
August carefully took the IV from his wrist, grimacing softly as he did so. He blinked a few times as his vision swayed and clouded over with black spots. Where was he? Why couldn’t he remember anything that had happened? He didn’t feel like he was hurt anywhere.
He put his key in the lock and opened the door, realizing he didn't know anything about this guy. Just his name, really. "I have breakfast?"
Charlie looked up at the girl who had walked in quizzically, running a hand through her dyed, gray-white hair. "Hello. . ." She said quietly, her voice as weak as her legs.
"They named me Harper. What have you been named?" Harper asked.
August saw the door open out of the corner of his eye, and he flinched sharply, falling back into a sitting position on the end of the bed. The man’s lips moved a bit too fast for him to read what they said. “What?” He managed to say, though something sounded off with his voice. Like he couldn’t exactly pronounce the word.
"Uh, Charlotte Walker. . . but I go by Charlie." She replied, pushing herself up and leaning against the wall, her prosthetic leg almost buckling under her weight.
