"I was in Chicago. My father lives there as well, and it wasn't too far away. But I never made it. Next I know I'm here…." he admitted.

"Chicago, Manhattan. No correlation there." Enzo looked around at the other members of their group. "There must be some reason why we were kidnapped. Any ideas?"

"Maybe we have something they want, like money?" Lixi quietly guessed.

"If they did, then they would have taken it while we were knocked out. We wouldn't need to be here still."

"Hostages." She suggested.

Liam controlled the anger wanting to burst out. "It doesn't make sense. We don't have anything to offer. We're not special."

"Maybe it's not about us, the government wouldn't risk letting people die. Maybe they want something from the government." She tried again before hiding behind Enzo, hugging his waist when she saw how frustrated the man was getting.

He finally sighed out, "I don't know. But I don't like it." Liam placed his palms on his forehead, not exactly frustrated with her, but the situation.

"I think we should explore," Enzo finally suggested, exhaling yet another long sigh. "Find out where we are. See if we can find our kidnappers. Or cameras. Or some sort of clue."

Liam nodded in agreement. "Yes. Doing something other than sitting around twiddling our thumbs."

'B-But what if they're in here." Lixi whimpered. This was horrifying, she didn't know if she was going to make it or go back home at all.

"It's alright, conejita," he said soothingly, ruffling her hair gently. He knew he was letting too much of his stress show, but he couldn't help it. The disorder surrounding him was hardly manageable. Still, he managed a smile for the small girl. "We'll protect you."

He glanced at the girl. "We have to know what is happening." Liam explained, albeit gently.

Lixi slowly nodded her head. "Ok." She took a deep breath before exhaling. "Ok." She said softly and clinged on to Enzo's hand.

"Okay." He gave her one last smile before turning to the rest of the group and down the hallway. "Listen up! Anyone who hasn't come out, and everyone else: we're exploring. Come with us if you want. There is probably safety in numbers."

Liam closed his eyes, letting out a faint sight before opening them.

Veda walked down a hall, her hand feeling the wall. She was freaking out. She wasn't at the island again, was she? No. She couldn't be. She heard some talking, and walked toward it, her unseeing eyes cloudy and full of fear. "Hello? Anyone there?" She called, slipping a hand into her pocket.

Paige melted into a corner. She heard a voice and went to investigate. She saw another girl walking around and tentatively whispered, "Hello?"

He turned to Enzo, who had apparently taken up the 'leader' role. "Where do you plan on going?" he inquired.
