Laurie blushed. “More like you…”
Laurie blushed. “More like you…”
"Aww!!! Thanks!" Kanoa grinned and then hopped onto the elevator with Laurie in tow.
Laurie’s breath caught when the weird slidey doors closed. The walls seemed like they were closing in on her as her breaths grew ragged.
Kanoa notice Laurie breathing weirdly. "Do you have claustrophobia?" she hugged Laurie, "I have pills for that, you know."
“Please…”, Laurie whispered, choking.
Kanoa pulled her bag off of her shoulder and dug her hand through it, coming up with a small bottle, "Here!" Kanoa handed two white circular pills to Laurie.
Laurie knocked them back with shaking jands, quickly finding that they worked. “Whoah… Thank you so much!”
Kanoa pressed the button for the floor, "You're welcome!"
//Hey, can I join this?
(yes, go ahead! Topaz might not be here til tomorrow though)
(Welcome!!)
They exited the elevator, Lauriel making sure that the glamour on her arm was working. She couldn’t see the awful word, so it had.
The room was huge and beautiful and full of dresses. Kanoa gasped and immediately ran over to a dress that changed color due to your emotions.
Lauriel stood, rooted to the spot for a second, looking around at the dresses in wonder. She trailed, in a daze, towards a shimmery floor-length one.
Kanoa touched the dress, it turned yellow, for happiness. She grabbed Laurie's arm, "Touch it!"
Laurie touched it, excited, and grinned widely when it turned soft magenta. She read the tag. “Magenta for gratitude.”
"Magenta is a pretty color." Kanoa smiled, "I can't afford it though, I only brought 3,000 dollars."
Laurie’s eyes widened. “Three thousand?!”
"I know, not much for a fancy dress." Kanoa smiled, "But my dad, well he's not actually my dad, he's a demon and he has these deals, so me and Rayni, my sister, pretty much live in luxury. Not that I'm entitled or anything! No, I'm pretty sure that I'm a nice person."
Lauriel shook her head. “You’re not nice. You’re pretty much the most genorous person the world has to offer.”
Kanoa's heart warmed, "Thanks! Rayni would probably argue with that though. She's still pretty pissed that I didn't lend her my headphones."
(Vera needs yiu!!)
Laurie laughed, blushing. Suddenly, a dress caught her eye and sh me gasped.
"Wow! It's so pretty!" Kanoa held back from touching the dress, afraid her hands would stain it.
Laurie’s mouth hung open. “That— that’s a traditional Faerie dress..”
"I don't know what that means." Kanoa hung her head. "I studied potions."
