Felix nodded a little, heading over to a table and sitting down, then starting to eat. It was standard ship fare; something edible, by not something you wanted to squint at too closely.
Felix nodded a little, heading over to a table and sitting down, then starting to eat. It was standard ship fare; something edible, by not something you wanted to squint at too closely.
Elias took a few bites of the food, just to be polite, but decided he could live without eating the food. It wasn't that the food was terrible, it just didn't taste the greatest, and he didn't want to embarrass himself, or hurt the chef's feelings by getting sick. So he quietly pushed the bowl away
Felix finished up his bowl, raising an eyebrow at Elias. "You gonna eat?" he asked, raising his eyebrows slightly as he looked at the other man.
Elias shook his head slightly, "No, I'm not hungry, but thank you though." He grabbed the biscuit of his bowl and began to nibble at it, "This should be enough for me. I don't eat a lot to begin with."
Felix nodded a little. "Mm. Alright then." he replied, getting up to take care of his bowl, then coming bakc, sitting down.
Elias nearly let out a sigh of relief when Felix let it be with that. He finished the biscuit then looked around, the ship's galley was quite large, and it fit all the men in quite comfortably. He nervously fidgeted with the ends of his nightshirt, not sure what he should do now, or where he should go either.
Felix looked at him. "Shall we head to my cabin, then, if you're done?" he asked, raising his eyebrows at Elias and smiling a little bit.
"Hhm, oh uhm, alright, I mean, if you do not have anything left that you need to do, then I guess it'd be alright." Elias began to ramble a little with his words, trying to find the right thing to say, "Uhm, I mean, if not that's alright too."
Felix blinked. "I don't really have anything left to do." he replied, standing and looking at Elias. "Unless you'd rather not head to the cabin yet."
Elias sighed, shaking his head a little bit, "I think anyone would be nervous to share a room with the man who kidnapped them, especially if that man is a pirate, but no matter, lead the way." He said as he stood up, "So uhm, how will this arrangement work?"
"You can bunk on the bed; I'll string up a hammock." Felix replied, starting to walk out of the galley and up on deck, then towards the cabins.
"Hhm, I could always take the hammock, after all this is your ship, not mine, so if anything you should have you know.. . ." He trailed off awkwardly and decided to just stay quiet. He continued to look around, contrary to what he had said earlier, the ship was quite beautiful, "I, uhm. . .Felix. . ." He murmured, trying to get the nerve up to ask the other man a question, then decided to give up, it wasn't that important. He stepped into the cabin behind the man, and his jaw dropped, "This is. . .this is very very nice. . ."
The cabin was a decent size, with bookshelves against one wall and a desk bolted to another. The bed was built into the ship, so as to keep it from shifting all over the place. Felix smiled a little. "Yeah, it isn't bad."
"Isn't bad? I think that it is very nice and well done, especially for the fact that is on a ship. I remember my cabin on my father's ship, it was nothing like this, actually, it was a lot worse, and not that well made. The crafters didn't know what they were doing. Either that, or they were just being lazy with their job." He said shrugging. "Although, I am not quite sure about that."
He shrugged a little bit, reaching under the bed and pulling out a folded-up hammock. "This ship was a navy vessel, for a while. That's likely why." he strung the hammock up, testing it to make sure it wouldn't fall.
Elias nodded then fell silent, he was exhausted, but figured that he would be much too nervous to sleep, "When will you send off the letter?" He couldn't contain himself anymore, "Also, from where will you send it?"
"I'm not sure." he repleid. "Next time we make port is when I'll send it, I believe." he sighed, sitting down on the hammock and looking over at Elias.
"Okay, thank you, I hate to sound rude, or annoy you, but I sort of would like to get home as soon as possible, it's not that I miss my father or anything, I just miss my home. I'm sure you understand." Elias wasn't too sure if he should sit or stand, or where if he could, so he just stayed standing awkwardly, "I do hope that you see what I mean?"
Felix blinked, and nodded. "I understand." he replied simply, looking at Elias carefully. "So you don't need to be so worried." he gave a faint smile, then lay down on the hammock.
Elias heaved a deep sigh of relief, "Good, thank you for understanding." He was still a bit nervous of where he should be, but finally decided to sit down on the bed, "Well, uhm I've asked you oh so many questions today, are there any you would like to ask of me?"
Felix looked over at him. "Mm. I'm not really sure, to be honest." he replied with a shrug, sighing faintly and rolling over a little. "You got anything to tell me?"
"I wouldn't know, I don't really have anything important about myself, or something interestingthat you would like to know." Elias smiled a little, "If I'm being annoying, please let me know, alright?" He crosses his arms a little bit.
Felix nodded a little. "Alright." he replied simply, shrugging his shoulders a little and taking a deep breath. "that works." he ran his hands through his hair, closing his eyes for a moment.
(((Oh shoot, I totally forgot to reply to this))
Elias nodded and began to speak, "Well, I grew up in an aristocratic family, and when I was a child my mother died. After that my father, who was once very kind and well, much like how a fther should be changed. He expected the perfect son. One who would either become a hero for our country or one who would somehow come into a large sum of money one day. Maybe by a marriage or something. But, well, I wasn't interested in marriage, at least the sort he expected of me, and not being a hero. Definetly not, so he began to try and force me to be something else that I wasn't, and uhm, that's. ..it?"
(it's fine!)
Felix hummed faintly. "I see." he replied, looking over at Elias thoughtfully. "Doesn't sound like the best life, but it doesn't sound like the worst, either. 'least, not to me." he shrugged his shoulders, making a slight face for just a moment.
