(smacks a picture of Matthew on the table)
(This one XD)
Pass the man who was talking to his pet, the route was clear. Seems like there was no danger up ahead. But of course, not a lot of things was as it seems. There were corpses stuck to the walls around that specific hall, they were pinned by spears which were completely red and blood soaked.
(Here’s something new for ya—)
Kasai seemed pleased with the pat that he did not answer. Kori, on the other hand, shook his head while still enjoying the head pats. Soon, Kori yawned and went back into his human form; a white haired man with clear blue eyes, a light blue and golden yukata and most importantly, wooden sandals.
”He’s on patrol” Kori said before he went to deal with his currently running nose.
(So, I sat blinking rapidly at the computer for a few minutes at that one…XD)
Hinata nodded in response to Kori, letting out a little sigh. At least she knew where she was now- well, a very vague and generalized idea, anyway. And, as usual, she knew her vacation was probably going to end up stressing her out as much as when she was on duty. Such was life.

(I have to agree, he's one of my favorite as well.)
"What a nice place," Kye said to himself as he continued down the hall. His right hand resting in his pack fiddling with a small bag of some sort of powder. As he studied the walls and continued and noticed the dead lining them. "Really, really nice place."
Oh yeah, absolutely.
The umm…. wall art is… unique.
That is a way to describe it.
(You’ll have to get used to animals turning into people from here on out :P)
Kori looked back at Hinata and asked quite simply:
”How’s Tats, Kats, and Kagami doing?” the ice fox hybrid gave a cold but welcoming smile. Oh how long it was since they last met, probably about decades now since Hinata was last around this land.
Creaks on the walls started to vibrate when a blood constructed spear barely passed by Kye’s neck. It was only a millimeter or two away from his neck when it passed.
”Greetings…” a crimson hooded figure spoke up from in front of Kye, catching the spear with one hand.
(Perfect. Also, I love those nicknames for them)
Hinata smiled as three separate answers entered her mind. Kagami, in particular, was happy to see Kori and Kasai.
"Everyone's been doing good," she paraphrased, not about to try to interpret Kagami's ramblings.
(Then I’ll use them more often)
”That’s good, that’s good” Kori stated with a surprisingly cute grin. This man was getting cuter as time goes on even the author’s got to accept that XD.
”So what brings you here?” the ice fox asked with a tilted head.
”To describe them perfectly, it’s hard so I’m just gonna explain them as simply as I can. They’re basically selected magic users who are loyal to the Master and the Prince of the Labyrinth and whose duty is to protect and serve the Labyrinth. By selected, I mean a group will be selected every twenty years, put to a large fight until only twelve remain on the battlefield. A bit cruel but it’s how it has been since the first generation. Speaking of which, it’s getting close to twenty years of duty for this generation which is the thirteenth… I wonder what the fourteenth generation would look like, it’s getting better each year group, at least that’s what I’ve heard.” the doctor tried to explain from his stand point which was a bit confusing to be perfectly honest. He doesn’t seem like one to talk to people often.
Adara blinked. "…Okay? Um… what is the Soul Labyrinth anyways, that makes it so important? It looks like any normal place."

Kye jumped back and looked at the figure his hand coming out of his pack still holding the small bag he'd been fiddling with. "Hi there, can I help you with something? If not I will gladly be on my way and out of your hair, assuming you have hair, but that is not really important, and you probably do not care about what I am saying do you."
”A system of compositions which build up to groupings of magic infused spirits, so to say, a place where dead magic users’ spirits gather to wait for their judgement, it’s a place that stands exactly between Heaven and Hell” the doctor explained, sitting back on his stool to examine the patient’s conditions.
”Looks like the medication’s working fine…”
As the doctor said that, sounds of footsteps can be heard outside, walking towards the room Adara and the doctor was in.
The hooded figure looked up to reveal eyes as red as lava.
”Well… if you insist that you’re going to leave this hallway and myself alone… I’ll let you through…” the figure suggested as he moved the side, holding the spear he had upright.

”So what brings you here?” the ice fox asked with a tilted head.
"Ah, actually the same reason as most places I go to nowadays. Getting shoved through a portal." Hinata shrugged, mostly over it. She wasn't very upset with it at the moment, seeing as she got to talk to old friends.
"Of course, it's always nice to see you guys."
”Nice words coming out as always I see” Kori giggled a bit when he spoke.
”You wanna go see Matt? He should be—“ Kori’s eyes flashed once ”—at Auroral Hospital now” the ice fox claimed as he saw a link in his connection to his ‘master’.
The hooded figure looked up to reveal eyes as red as lava.
”Well… if you insist that you’re going to leave this hallway and myself alone… I’ll let you through…” the figure suggested as he moved the side, holding the spear he had upright.
I feel like he's lying.
Oh yeah, I got those vibes from him already.
Shield is up but I'm warning you now, I don't have unlimited energy left.
Noted.
Kye started moving around the man, slowly, not turning his back to him. His hand firmly holding the small bag of unknown powder.
As Kye passed by, the crimson hooded figure noticed the little stress that was built up inside him.
”Come on, I’m not that kind of person” the figure reassured, still maintaining their figure.
Adara tensed at the sound of footsteps. "So… heaven and hell are real?" She glanced around, slipping her knife out from her sleeve.
”Yes, they are very real” the doctor said as he looked out the window of the door.
The knob was turned as a tall green eyed figure walked into the room.
”Well hi Cassi-kun” the newcomer said to the doctor to which the doctor made an unsatisfied groan.
”For the thousand time, stop calling me that” the doctor warned in a friendly tone.
The newcomer laughed a bit as he petted the cat that was in his arms.
”Nice words coming out as always I see” Kori giggled a bit when he spoke.

Hinata grinned at the first part, about to respond when Kori continued.
"Ah, yeah. It'll be nice to see him again too after all these years." She kept smiling, pretty relaxed while talking to Kori. "Thank you." She turned a bit to leave, pausing when Kagami protested loudly about not being able to at least give Kori a hug.
(Someone has a slight crush on my icey boi I see XD)
Kori was about to open a portal to the building but stopped when Hinata froze.
”Something wrong?” he asked, his eyes glittering as the sunlight reflected against their crystalline glow.
"No, nothing wrong," Hinata chuckled. "A certain someone just wishes to say hello." Just like that, Kagami was standing next to her- she was older then the last time Kori had seen her; before, she had been very young, like a seven-year-old. But now… it was obvious she was becoming a woman. She smiled brightly, rushing over and wrapping her arms around Kori in a large hug. One thing hadn't changed about her- she was still just a giant ball of energy.
(I think we’ve got a new ship?)
Kori was a bit surprised when Kagami appeared out of nowhere but wasn’t surprised that she wanted a hug.
”Well hello Ka-chan, if I can still use that with you” Kori giggled a bit before he used his free hand to summon a portal that would lead them to the hospital he told Hinata about earlier.
”After you” he gestured towards the passage.
(This ship would be adorable and I one hundred percent approve)
"Of course you can!" Kagami said with a wide grin, obviously happy to see Kori after all this time. Hinata nodded to Kori, obviously finding the interactions cute. She stepped through, Kagami reluctantly letting Kori out of her grip to follow.
(grins if you insist—)
Kasai got on Kori’s shoulder and came through the portal soon after the visitors came in. The portal closed soon after and the ice fox hybrid opened the doors that led inside the hospital.
”We’ve got to be quiet until we reach the room they’re in, ‘kay? The patients here are a bit unstable” Kori claimed as he guided the visitors through the clean and easily beautiful halls.
As Kye passed by, the crimson hooded figure noticed the little stress that was built up inside him.
”Come on, I’m not that kind of person” the figure reassured, still maintaining their figure.
"Well, considering the last guy that I ran into tried to split me in half, you can not blame me for being a bit on edge. Also considering the other fact of me being hunted," Kye added. "I think I have every reason to be a little distrusting."
I told you-
Please do not.
I'm afraid you can't make me.
I could have this fella here kill me. Right now, while you have the shield down.
You sly little… Fine. I'll be quiet for a bit.
Hinata nodded, her hands slipping back into her pockets. She was good at quiet. Kagami, on the other hand, was struggling. She always caught herself, though. She much preferred to be walking with Kori to traveling in Hinata's mind like she usually did.
”Aisen’s a little active ain’t he” the crimson hooded figure shook his head and sighed as he spoke.
”Come on, move it, or I might change my mind”
Kori noticed the happiness that Kagami showed and wanted to make her more happy.
He walked slower to be beside Kagami and swiftly held her hand. His hand was warm, despite himself being an ice fox. His fox ears and tail twitched in satisfaction as they walked.
Kagami was more than a bit surprised when Kori put his hand in hers, looking up at him. She broke out in a grin, moving to walk just a tad bit closer to him.
Hinata watched quietly, beginning to feel more like a chaperone to these two than anything at the moment.
